i dont leave sight or hand out personal info
why leave ? you got pics they can see here
if they give you the lame excuse of they dont come here often , then they are not that interested
<shrug>
be safe out there
and never EVER send money

If their first contact with you suggests you move off the dating site, it is probably because they want to give you some hard luck story and request money from you, as others have said, you never send money to anyone you have only met online. Always tell them you prefer to stay on the dating site, the scammers soon disappear because their only interest is in requesting money from you.

Welcome to Mingle2 and good luck in your search.

Sounds suspect. I could understand if you have been visiting awhile wanting to move to other means of communication, text or email for example, but not as soon as you start talking.

Sometimes they just want to get off of the site ASAP because they're being spammed themselves. It's not for everybody. Most of the women that might want to chat with me and maybe consider dating don't also want people from all over the world sending them weird messages. And then there are the guys that they just find creepy messaging them all the time.

I wouldn't give out my email but if I meet somebody that's actually interested in dating I'm out of here and it's not like this is a place where I actually want to be. Most of the time it's just tolerable because at least there's a forum, for what that's worth.

Sigh!! Scammers do ask for email.. Most of them are scammers and while we have some which are real... All they do is to get you on the yahoo messenger and ask u to deactivate your account on here . So that you can concentrate on them and fall more deeply in love them... Later, the scammers would come back to the site to get more women which you won't be aware of... Be careful

its one of many things that send up a red flag and cause me to keep on a moving,,,,,

amongst others: questions that indicate they have obviously not bothered to read the profile and grammar that is very poor(moreso than the normal Americanized English)as well as those who seem to be 'looking' for marriage,,,,

Many sites are packed with 419 scammers. Never exchange your emails with users you never met face to face. If the user gives his/her email to you in your PM, it is 130% scam ! We very familiar with famous Yahoo Boys in cyber cafes located in Lagos, Nigeria. They are smart actors who masquerade themselves with fake pics stolen from modeling magazines.
In conclusion, be wise.
