“A long the Way”


We strive for each day.
As we go along the way.
We never know.
How things will go.
We hope for the best.
We will be blessed.
Things will go right.
And bring us delight.
We will do what we must.
And learn to adjust.
For those we met.
We will never forget.
The time we had.
Wish we could add.
Just a little bit more.
And take time to explore.
This path we travel.
It’s paved with gravel.
We will hit bumps along the way.
That will leave us in dismay.
We will keep on going.
And keep on showing.
That we can give.
And learn to forgive.
As we go long our way.
Down this very path we take today.
