gt the best description i have ever found is someone who absolutely gush happy and up beat with a wee bit of socail butterfly mixed in so it rubs off on or touches everyone.

as for part two you really don't need to create a euphemism for things that don't have negative connotations

Hey now... I like Bubbles.. and they can be funny, sexy, etc... TaKe a look at them in the sun sometimes all those colour are down right sexy...
Funny ever watch one that bust right over a kittens nose..flowerforyou

Bubbly to me is someone that is up beat and has a way of getting others to smile with them.

They bring warmth and cheer into a room..

As far as BBW.. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.

that just about sums it up i reckon,so basically if you can cheer people up you are bubbly?wonder who first thought that up?
more homework
that's why i asked why the term BBW, some big women and men can be ugly as well beautiful, as can slim men and women.

I think that is a very good description of 'bubbly'. I consider myself to be bubbly. Full of life and energy, happy, positive, and that part that it rubs off on others.
That is not the same as "outgoing" and "charismatic". Someone who's outgoing, doesn't have to be bubbly, same for someone who's charismatic. Charismatic to me means he/she has high appeal, can inspire, but not necessarily bubbly. They're the kind of people that everybody automatically listens to when they speak. Kinda like natural leaders.

Personal charisma is a constellation of complex and sophisticated social and emotional skills. They allow charismatic individuals to affect and influence others at a deep emotional level, to communicate effectively with them, and to make strong interpersonal connections. People mention Oprah Winfrey, Martin Luther King, Bill Clinton, JF Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe

Try chewing a bubble gum, blow and make a bubble.......

Kidding aside, bubbly for me is someone who perks you up like a coffee in the morning or night it keeps you awake:banana: a life of the party, keeps everyone alive with happiness and full of energy:banana: drinks

"Bubbly", but what does it actually mean?

Enthusiastically happy and gregarious in a sweet and simplistic manner.

if you see yourself as "Bubbly", what are you basing this on?

I think it's different if you read it on an online profile vs. in "real" life.

IMO/IME when someone puts they have a "bubbly" personality on their profile it's mostly to say "I'm not like those pessimists, I'm not like those people that put 'no one night stands! no players!' even though I might have put that in my profile, I'm looking to engage positively and joyfully because that's what I think I am."

IME most people that are actually "bubbly" don't realize they are bubbly, and they wouldn't describe themselves as "bubbly" possibly taking offense at the term since it implies being simple.
They'd mostly describe themselves as outgoing, optimistic, and happy.

Like when men say they are "nice guys."
Nice guys don't call themselves nice guys.

how do they define themselves as beautiful

People WANT to be able to define themselves and then force that opinion on others, to get others to see them that way.
What's been a constant staple in teen movies and dramas?
"You don't know me! You can't judge me!"

Even though most of who you are is based on responding to how other people have treated you all your life, based on how they know you and judge you.

It's just a symptom of the hyper sovereign individuality "express yourself, be yourself!" push.

and why don't we have references to "SBW"

Because people don't need all that descriptive of reference to what is simply accepted as it is.

I was bubbly when I was younger,,,I based it on being told by others (and even nicknamed bubbly at one point), I believed it to mean cheerful and positive and optimistic,,,etc,,,

We dont have skinny beautiful woman, kind of like why we dont have White Entertainment Television

the status quo is to be skinny, so beautiful already implies someone to be on the thinner side of health

the BBW was born out of this mainstream idea of beauty to express that BIG women can also be beautiful

,,,,I will accept nothing less than a C+ here
