Seriously, I remember this story when it first broke....then I forgot about it until now. It moved fast...they mustve had him dead to rights. Good riddance.

This is old news. It had to be 3 or 4 months ago when they searched his house and removed boxes of evidence.

Not only do they have a crap load of evidence, )didn't you see the picture of them loading a U-Haul sized truck up with it back when they enforced the search warrant?) but I believe they have a witness as well, the guy who worked for him I believe agreed to testify for reduced charges.

yeah, they searched his house back then but I don't recall him even being officially charged ( maybe I missed it), but here he is pleading guilty.

his computer must have been loaded to the max. Hope he gets what he deserves.

He is not going to fare well in there and will put him in protective custody for awhile.. can't stay in there forever and eventually he will be put into general population.

Guess we will find out his sentence tomorrow when the plea deal becomes official....

Sources say Fogle will accept a plea deal
Wednesday. The U.S. Attorney’s Office will

discuss the deal and charges against Fogle.
Fogle’s attorney, Ron Elberger, had no
comment in regards to the plea deal. He said
any information regarding the charges would
come from the attorney’s office. Elberger did
say Fogle’s suspension with Subway continues.
Subway issued the following statement to
FOX59 Tuesday:
“We have already ended our
relationship with Jared and
have no further comment.”
The charges come after federal agents raided
Fogle’s Zionsville home in early July. FBI
sources confirmed to FOX59 state and federal
investigators were serving warrants at his home
in connection with a child pornography
investigation. Several computers and DVDs
were seized from Fogle’s home.
Earlier this year, Russell Taylor, the former
director of the Jared Foundation started by
Fogle, was arrested in a child pornography
case. He was accused of possessing and
producing child pornography. Investigators said
a search of Taylor’s home turned up more than
500 videos with images of child pornography.
In May, Taylor unsuccessfully tried to kill
himself while in jail.
Fogle gained national fame after attributing
massive weight loss to eating Subway
sandwiches. He was a freshman at Indiana
University at the time. He later became a visible
presence in Subway ad campaigns, pitching the
restaurant’s sandwiches and touting their
health benefits.
Subway suspended their relationship with the
spokesman shortly after the raid.

Neither attorney or the FBI are offering statements (in the article).

And this is after Russell Taylor, the head of Jared's foundation was "preliminarily charged with child exploitation, possession of child pornography, and voyeurism."

There's a huge difference in charges.
For all I know Taylor had an office in Jared's home, stored some child porn there, or it was in his email server.

For all I know Taylor forwarded a text picture of a 17 year old girls boobs.
That can constitute "possession of child pornography."

And there doesn't seem to be a distribution charge.
Teenagers that sext and send boob and genital pics to each other get charged with possession and distribution of child porn.

So the whole thing "could" be just "yes your honor, I do have on my computer naked pictures of some chick my friend Taylor sent me, that happen to be someone under 18."

"Possession" of child pornography is a far cry from producing child porn or kidnapping kids for diddle movies and an honorary membership in NAMBLA.

At best I've found anywhere is "several computers were seized" and "allegedly containing child pornography."


There was an evidence truck.
There's no indication that it was filled up.
The pictures of the raid on Jared's home you can find on the internet only show an evidence truck, and one computer being seized.


What picture?
The video in the article mentions finding "hundreds of images and video in his home" but they are talking about Russell Taylor and his house, not Fogle or Fogle's home.

About Fogle's home the article states "Authorities at the time were seen removing numerous items from Fogle's home, carrying them out in bags, boxes and briefcases" which isn't all that informative.
