So its looking like there are a very small number of actual members that are real !,Bit of a shame as it started to look like an interesting site ,So the question is ...How long before the boredom forces the average new person to leave ? .

So its looking like there are a very small number of actual members that are real !,Bit of a shame as it started to look like an interesting site ,So the question is ...How long before the boredom forces the average new person to leave ? . So, you expect to get your desired results in only 3 days? For what it is worth, this site is for socializing, and plenty of members frequently socialize with each other in the forums. |

Day 3 on Mingle...I've been on the island just a few days now....had to fight my way through the scammers tribe to get to a place known as "the forum". Don't know how long I'll last here, caught a bad case of boredom.
Give it more time and try posting in the forums...the natives are shy until they see your wit. |

Thanks .It seems the site is a little slow as i have filled a bit of that in ;),What to do ! wait i think :) And as this page is quicker than my profile one ,can i say opera, travel and world domination :) ...also nice to have proper feed back !...so looking at the profile page verses the comments (forum) is there a high number of people joining then leaving ?maybe a blip on the site? anyhow nice to meet/converse with real people ...but i have to say (dont kill me !) same ones i see on the community pages(one or two i haven't seen yet !but i am sure they will come soon . my question is aimed at all including the old members and the new :) :)

Why has this been moved from the new members forum as the question was for old and new members ! ...ok its fine ..so apparently im now asking the very few old members ...and still have no answer ...

txsgal already answered why it was moved.
new members is for introductions only |

When does the new member leave?
My guess is it depends on the new member and what they are looking for. If a person is bored and easily frustrated I would imagine pretty fast. Internet dating is a process. Unfortunately the scammers actually slow the process down because most members that stay any time at all do not want to be bothered by the instant Romeo's. (Generic for either sex.) What is interesting is the number of people who stay for years because it is a positive experience. |

Hi u..

As for the OP's question ... of course there's a lot of people coming and going... It's a big international site and you see this coming & going phenomenon on every dating site and/or forum.
It's not really about numbers, it's about quality. If it's mostly quality people that leave, then you gotta worry. But you wouldn't know about that if you leave yourself now would ya? FYI it's quite normal to only have some 10% stick around after registering. Same on any forum/site. Or survey responses etc. Marketeers are happy if they get 5% response. |
