Heads up; Anybody tries to tell you that they are calling you from a military scrambled number is a scammer. Legit military members have access to open phone lines for personal use.
DO NOT call unknown numbers because your call can be forwarded to countries that charge huge phone charges. Believe me the call might start out free and end up costing a months rent or worse. |

My favorite is when you read the profiles (where it says where they are from) and it says things like Manhattan, Arkansa or Manhattan, Kansas then when you talk to them on line, ask where they are from, they say they are in Africa or the West Indies working or visiting family.
Things that make you go...HMMM! |

I wonder with all the scammers and scammer reports and scammer started forum posts on this site....do they ever scam each other? I mean are there any exchanges like: "Hi i be paul from the texas, I am in nairobe right now for biznus but looking for my troo sole mate, the one serious relations!" "No way! I'm gina from milwalky in the wisconsin, I am in nairobe for the bisness too! ... Just kidding, this is Mehdi from 3rd shift, are you Moustef?! "Mehdi? yah, this is Moustef. Oh man, I heard about your improvements to the zimbabwe prince strategy last quarter, that was awesome...did you get the bag of rice prize or did daveed steal it again for his goats? and what's with the new time stamp machine protocols? It's like they don't trust us...lol..." "hey, my overseer is coming this way and unhooking his whip. I've got to go look for dumb americans now, good luck in your search, lets get a drink after work sometime. My cousin Yannof pirated some whiskey from an oil ship when he was vacationing in Somali last week. Be sure to bring that 3rd party check, right? LOL TTYL. " |

Another key to spotting scammers is their profession listed as "military". Yes, maybe some might be actual military but usually not. They insist on getting your personal # saying they are not online very much, but they are. Also, their grammar is horrible, even for the Majors and Captains who I know have to be able to spell for reports.

thanks for everyone teaching the scammers to be better scammers... maybe not disclose how you think they are scammers so they don't change it?
