I don't get it either but it must seem like a good idea to them. Guess they figure they can ask and maybe get lucky. It has never worked on me. Neither does blasting me with theirs. Just seems desperate. Maybe a few emails in then if they give me a name and number I might take them more seriously but even then no guarantees.

Years ago if I had someone be obnoxious in person, common where I spent most of my young dating life where men out numbered women 5 to 1, about getting a phone number I would give them the answering service for the city morgue.

I like that one..My favorite number to give them in our local sushi place. They start out their lingo with We serve it fast and fresh hot or cold... How would like it may I take your order.

City morgue...that's great! I used to give them the phone number to my old apartment that I haven't lived in for over 20 years.
