I'm divorced. No children or grandchildren. Last date was 3 months ago. Looking to date for an exclusive relationship, but there is no man that I have an interest in currently. Need I say more.

Oh, I see quite a few on here that say they are separated. That is married to me. Others are married and want to "chat".

how long after a divorce can you be classed as divorced? i have been divorced 13 years now so am i single or divorced? Yeah, difficult at times. I used to always play it by ear. I divorced my hubby 15 years ago, had a 10 yr relationship after that, but didn't get married though. So technically I could still say I'm divorced, lol. |

There's never a checkbox / option for people that come out of a LTR, but weren't married.
To me that's 'separated', because you're not together anymore, and you weren't married, so you're not 'divorced'. Many Dutch websites DO have the option that translates into "Split up". Saying you're single when your in you're 40+ sounds kinda weird. Like you're some wallflower who could never land a partner. If a man says he's single on a Dutch website with the option to choose for 'split up' or 'divorced' I avoid them. They usually have never been in a real relationship, are players, or not able to commit. The US options had me confused at first, cos I AM separated --> I left my partner whom I never married. Resulting in Eharmony refusing my membership, saying I wasn't single 
Would be much clearer if there was an option saying "Split up" I divorced my 1st partner, split up with my 2nd, now I'm single. |

Only married the one time~~~ Just have not found another I wanted to take that step with again.. Almost did once but well that did not work out.. 
Even though I had dated one guy for 12 years.. It is what it is... 2kids and 5 grand kids life is good~~~~
