Thinking...I love when I am freshly shaved..feels so smooth:)).
Thinking I like when U make time for me. Thinking.. it's bedtime.. |

Thinking that even after nigh 20 years "A horse with no name" still takes me back to getting off the coach in the middle of the night at Tennant Creek. Pitch black, no bus station, no lights, no nothing. Just a tumble weed rolling across the street as the coach's lights disappeared in the dark night. And me thinking "What the he|| have I done!! I wanna go home!! Mommy!!"

Thinking how tough it's going to be to find a job in Lexington for someone over 50. I have a PhD, meaning I know a whole lot about almost nothing and nothing about anything else.
True meaning of PhD is piled higher and deeper. |

But I was told there'd be a bus station, tourist info centre etc. that was open. But there was nothing. Just the frigging tumble weed. I remember that so well, cos I always thought tumble weeds were props in movies. I didn't know they were for real, haha. I ended up waking the ppl from the youth hostel. They're weren't too chuffed, it was close to 5 AM. But at least I had a room for the night, a bed, and a few very thick duvets: it was freezing cold outside! But funny that the song still triggers that moment, a hint of fear and excitement going through me. Was the first time on my own in a strange country. |

Well, as Grandpa used to say "Child you are either brave or bat *** crazy." Personally, I'll go with brave. |

True meaning of PhD is piled higher and deeper. That's right missy and I've spent years perfecting my craft since getting my degree. :-) In fact, I now have my own research lab where I can pass on all of my acquired knowledge in bullshitology to the younger generation. |

Pissing down rain, not taking the boat out today. I take exception to this statement.... I am thinking about how gray the day is and for the 3rd day in a row I am using the fireplace.. I want the sun back |

I want the sun back CLose to needing the heating on here as well ... going to be an expensive year, high bill for gass :/ THis really is the crappiest summer we've had in I don't know how long. I'm wearing the sweaters I normally wear during winter, while you should be able to sit outdoors in shorts. Totally utterly crap. |

summer, thats a high of 110 degrees with equal humility. I moved to North Dekota, and found the opposite, cold, like -70 and windy, with lots of dust and mud. Its cool, but Ice is not fun sometimes. Here is perfect its in the summer at maby 80 degrees, no humitiy. But winter its very cold.

Possibly, my minions are everywhere (just go watch the movie), besides I did my graduate work at Notre Dame, not so far from you. |
