Brenda, I have talked to a lot of women here who tell me they get weird e-mails from youngsters! I can't really explain that, maybe it's the allure of the older woman -- ?? I don't know, I think lots of guys are curious about that sort of thing -- when I was 24, I was going out with a woman who was 40, and we stayed friends for years even after the relationship, per se, was over. For me, it's never been about the age, though, it's about the person. The younguns who are writing to you may have something else on their "minds" (and I use the term loosely).

It's hard to say why people do what they do, and I think it's a mistake to overgeneralize. All of the locals who are ignoring me, may very well be doing so for any number of different reasons! (That's a little morbid, huh?) But I doubt if I will ever know.

Still, having the obsessive-compulsive overanalytical mind that I have, I'm pretty much required to think about it, dwell on it, and create an endless series of rambling posts pertaining to this particular issue and various ramifications thereof....

Lee, I'm not entirely sure, but I think Bonny was trying the old "Let's get this guy hooked up and out of the basement" strategy when she created a couple of threads about me awhile back. Particularly the "Mutual Appreciation Society" one; I was like the world's biggest Attention Whore for a week. Not that there's anything wrong with that. She keeps bringing it back, too, when the mood strikes her, I think it got up to 16 pages or something. I was touched! And embarrassed. All at the same time.

But I've always been Mr. Under-The-Radar, invisible to man and beast (and especially to local girls on this site), so being dragged out into the searing light of day is almost Draculo-corrosive for me....(that's a movie thing, by the way; in the actual book, Dracula is depicted walking around during the day with no side effects at all) --

Still, she gave it a hell of a shot, and I love her dearly for trying. But my only hope for this site now is that some new girl shows up and doesn't get the memo telling her she has to ignore me....

I felt bad since it was only innocent, well that is what I told myself hahaha but this nice guy just inspired me to e-mail people I click on their profiles and say G’day….no, I am not expecting anything but it sure is polite. Thanks to this guy...
