Adj, you may have a point -- I have been on some sites (which shall remain brainless) where the forums really ARE a bunch of sick noise. And I suppose if someone had seen those, there could be a tendency to assume that the forums here would be more or less along those same lines, unless they took the time to look into it.

I actually read posts here for about a month before I ever posted anything myself. That was mainly because it took me awhile to get a handle on the way things work here -- this is really different from all the other forums I have seen.

I think a few bad ones are inevitable, anywhere you go....

But I have to say that, on a strictly percentage basis, there are far fewer here than anywhere else I've been....

....and they tend (for the most part) to be pretty easily identifiable....if one knows how/where to look....!

It could also be that thtey don't expect there to be forums...not all sites have them.....and it could also be the sex topics turn people off....or it could be.....

What I hate is when I start talking to someone in here and we exchange yahoo addresses and then they send me a couple of brief messages and then, I never hear from them again and I never even got to meet them in person so I could at leaast console myself with they thought I was fat and ugly or too tall or too short, or too shy or talked too much, or they thought I was a lousy dresser......
