i disagree, a very poor example for everyone... it had it's fame when it won a gold medal, a true hero then... now just a waste of time and money... Ill second that Moe..... I Fourth that Moe The minute he hooked up with Mr Kardasin's Esquire... EX wife & put his whole life on display with her and media ****** daughters, he BECAME a joke. And that was before he developed or displayed " Cable TV vagina envy "

In reality, I really don't care what Jenner does. But I would have more respect for Jenner if he was documenting his change " for all to see".. for free. But he is not. He gets paid for this. You see, when you get paid for something, you are not doing it as a public service. You are not doing it to help others who come after you or to document the "struggle" You are doing it for money. It then becomes a commodity that you are selling. So at that point, I loose all respect for him But that is JMO I'd have more respect for him if he would keep it to himself.. I don't wanna hear that crap..

I don't understand why it's Caitlyn and not Kaitlyn. Maybe he wanted to be separate himself from the Kardashians and all their "K" names. Good one!!!

Don't make me drag out the chalk board and draw stick figures too...LOL I read a few posts that provoked my statement of support for EVERYONE, and Moe in particular, to speak their mind no matter their opinion or the POPULARITY of that opinion. If people want to refer to this 67 year old man who is now a one month old, partially feminized male as him, her or "it", go ahead. It makes their opinion no less valid - it is an opinion for crying out loud. Do people have this strong reaction at news of a pregnancy and someone asks, "what is it?" But a chalk board would make it easier to rearrange the genitalia of the stick figures so I can better keep up with......the....kardashians? BTW: My man boobs? They're real!

I empathize with his confusion and his insecurities,,,, I dont believe that having a doctor manipulate how you appear to others changes what you are,, he is still bruse and still a male but he prefers to be called caitlyn,, fine and he prefers to pretend he is a female, its up to society to participate in that delusion,,, each individual who knows him will probably do so out of respect for his CHOICE to live as if he were female,,,

Maybe some of the fault (responsibility?) lies with the entertainment industry and viewer ratings..They (media) wouldn't be buying if there wasn't a market...Plus, who's to say it won't be helpful to some men and women who struggle with gender identity...Kinda like "Biggest Loser"??...No pun intended

moe, gender identity is a cool new phrase created by the psychological association in the last generation that reflects ones 'sense of self as a male or female' so he wishes his SEX (biological status) to appear to match his gender identity,,,, and to be identified no longer by his actual sex but by the gender identity he 'senses' you have to check the APA every decade or so,, there are all types of new things being created or erased to fit society's desires and requests,,

How it sees itself is "identity" "Created or erased ", You said it... erased a penis & created a quasi vagina. Over 65 yrs old, who knows how many women as sex partners, 3 marriages & 6 biological children. Between his career, family life & fortune he certainly had a busy identify already.
