I practice don't ask, don't tell. Don't ask me and I won't tell you True |

And it seems everyone has one. Do you think people really want opinions most the time they ask for them? If not what? I think quite a few of them, are nothing but self serving attention whores. Another high percentage group, are merely using the forums as a sounding board, for self validation. |

We all need opinion minions lol Well I do anyway - because I'm not very good at decision making Well some women will automatically give their opinion, no matter if people will ask or not. Then they get real angry if you don't care or take their advice. .You have too many rolling heads.. . stop that..... jk. |

I think when people ask another's opinion, they really don't give a hoot about their view, they want that someone to AGREE with them. What do y'all think? (AGREE WITH ME! AGREE WITH ME! ) OOOPS, reckon I overlooked your comments. In your opinion does this make me an a**? |

some may "ask" others opinions, but in reality, they only "want" to hear those that agree with their own views....anything else, is quickly dismissed as ignorance... ^^^ This If you ask opinions, then you should know there will be differing opinions. If you are not ready to be open minded, and consider the answers given, then you shouldn't have asked to begin with. I have been around the web for some 20 years now, many years as a moderator, and the last 6 years as an admin. Time and time again, It's "agree with me" and then if you have a different view, it is dismissed, ignored, or otherwise disputed. If you are not willing to at least try and understand the views of others, (even if they differ from your own) then the question is a moot point. People who repeatedly ignore the opinions/advice of others, after asking for those opinions, quickly fall from favor in the forum community, and receive less responses to future queries. That is solid advice. This post in no way is directed at the OP or the person i quoted. |

Hhhaaaa, nope, it means your synapses fire as quickly as mine, so it is necessary to cancel out the trivial **** whenever possible. Unfortunately vital data can be lost & the trivial sneaks in causing confusion & sometimes cerebral pain. |

That does it! I will use "scientific terminology to defeat the censorship!
No FECES, I was going to say that but I'm not British so I didn't think I could pull it off! Sounds worse that the common "vulgarism" that starts with the letter "S" doesn't it? |

I think sometimes people aren't sure about whatever they're thinking about. One of my friends, keeps asking me the same questions. Over and over. He asks me stuff like "How would you describe me?", not sure why he only asks ME that, but okay. He also always asks me whether he's a good person. I wonder if he's figured out why I frown at the floor, or leave the room, every time he flies into a bad mood. .

And it seems everyone has one. Do you think people really want opinions most the time they ask for them? If not what? Some are really looking for different angles on a subject.. Others indeed are attentions whores, as it was so eloquently put Some only start a topic to have an excuse to post whatever it was they wanted to ram down our throats to begin with. - another form of attention seeking. Some seem to be bored and like to chit-stir. |
