“How Hard Is It”

As I watch the things that you say and do.
And what life has taken you through.
Even though at times some think we whine.
We just want to be back on cloud nine.

Tell me now really what would it hurt.
Just to help us get back up when our faces hit the dirt.
Instead of the words some seem to throw.
How hard is it for you to show?

A few kind words go a long way.
They don’t need the words that smell of decay.
Just a simple jester you care.
Go ahead it feels good to share.

The next time you see someone blue.
Show them you care and know what there going through.
Now tell me how hard that would be.
Just to understand and be able to see.

Some times in order for the hurt to be gone.
They must vent there words to understand and to move on.
A pity party is not what they demand.
Just to hear that someone does understand.
