ahahaha what does drugs in his system have to do with this? ok so because he had drugs in his system, that caused him to sever his own spine? that is the most ridiculous thing i ever heard. just more of the police trying to smeer his character and take the spotlight off them. i dont care what drugs you have in your system, your not going to puprosely sever your own spine, that is just ridiculous.

Depends on the drugs. I have taken on people on Meth and PCP who have taken 3-4 people to put them down. Also drugs can cause a psychotic break and someone in one of those feel no pain either so it could mean a lot if he was trying to hurt himself.

yea i agree, but he wasnt on meth or PCP, he was on marijuana and heroin, i doubt he would have severed his own spine. witnesses said they had him bent up like a pretzel after they tazed him. then put him in the van with no seatbelt. im assuming the inside of the wagon is all smooth metal, so if your already hurt and not strapped in you will be flying all over the place in there.

People on drugs (bath salts/molly) have been known to eat other people's faces off.......

yupp again not disagreeing, but he wasnt on molly or bath salts. it was heroin and marijuana. and who knows if he was even under the influence at the time. just because its in your system doesnt necessarily mean that your under the influence.

I admit, I am not totally up to date with what is going on or what really happened. And I believe the vast majority of police ( of all color) do a good job.. it is not a easy job.. at all.

But that being said

Even if someone did commit a crime and is arrested. The cops job is to safely transport them to the police station or wherever they are being taken to.. safety. If a medical condition arises or the prisoner is unresponsive. He or she must receive the attention needed to make sure they are not in danger of dying or in danger of themselves or others in a timely manner.

The same type situation happened on Staten Island, the guy complained that he could not breath, nothing was done until it was too late.

You can't do that. That is just plain wrong

Yeah. And it's too bad he's making things so much worse. Wow.

Maybe he needs to choose another career?

how has he made things worse?

is he robbing, looting, hurting people, or passing laws that hurt people?

So long as it isn't tax advisor, I'd be happy to see that fella in any other job. He's a grandstanding, holier-than-thou, race-baiting, muck-raking, arrogant and conceited provocateur.

and an air-thief.

I'm happy we have him to give people voice who may go ignored,,,,,for shining light on things that others prefer to minimalize or sweep under the rug, and to offer programs in troubled communities for under served children, and to represent underrepresented communities in the media and politics

How has he made things worse? Do you see what is going on in this country? What is it that you don't see about him dividing our races? When has this country had such bad relations as we have now? And we have a black president. Explain it to me, cuz I don't understand. You know, Obama could have helped fix things...He blew it.

there is a difference between shining light on division and causing the division

the country was founded on division,, from slavery, to jim crow, to segregation and institutional racism

he caused none of it, just lived through some of it and continued to organize to fight against it,,
