probably experience,,,,,not all cops in every community interact with the citizens with professionalism or respect

the fact that he was even chased simply because of choosing to run,,that he was asking for help BEFORE he was put in the van.....people are upset that citizens lives aren't valued more

Let's see.. KNOWN Criminal (25yrs +), running from a cop, or trotting or skipping & singing the Barney song laugh IS A CRIME & IS EVADING ARREST , another crime, & IS INTERFERING WITH A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION, another crime.... equals use of deadly force, by LAW.

* Not to mention, incredibly foolish & self defeating or just suicidal as opposed to more jail time *

lol, actually its not, since he was not under arrest or being threatened with arrest,,,

he was not in the process of a criminal act, and merely made 'eye contact
,,but nice try

and you may be ok with deadly force as penalty for running, but I like our system where the only excuse for the justice system to impose a death penalty is for those convicted of murder,,,

Your words " because he choose to run "

Yea .. that's what * cough * innocent people do.... run from police when they " make eye contact "

no, sassy euros may not

but people in areas that have reason not to trust the police in that area , may do just that, as fast as they would run from any other situation where a thug has a gun and is eyeing them

since when does evading arrest or interfering with a police investigation constitute deadly force? i thought that constitutes arrest?

If you flee or attempt to flee - it does.
They can use any means necessary to stop you & protect the public & themselves.

so then why is the south carolina cop who shot that man in the back facing a criminal investigation? theyre only allowed to shoot if they feel you are an immediate danger to other people.

the truth is great,, the whole truth is better

wealth and poverty are seperate issues from earning money,, money is a factor but people with money still are impoverished and lack wealth,, the differencs in these subjects is something for another thread

but impoverished areas are more likely to be riddled with crime, those with little to lose tend to be open to more risky behavior

and poverty is relevant to AMERICAN history as it pertains to the differences between the black demographic and the white one,,

which is inevitably what was being implied when pointing out the disparity in violent crime,,,

I just shared more truth,, respect THATlaugh

Sorry, you certainly didn't earn any respect there... happy
Blacks are not the ONLY group to suffer persecution in this country but many seem to think they are.
And some think it is 1960-1970 when TRUE injustice was prevalent.
Dr MLK Jr must be rolling over in his grave.

More excuses for bad behavior.

give me another example of a group that was persecuted and oppressed for HUNDREDS of years in america under the protection of the law from the moment they were born into the world,, based on their ancestral history?

Im waiting on baited breath here,,...lol

its not about excuse for bad behavior its about accountability for deadly behavior,, even if the one engaged in it is wearing a uniform,,,

It is accountability & consequences for our actions. And the distintion between citizens & criminals & the police job to -protect & serve. * that does not mean spare a criminal *

And they are called NATIVE AMERICAN/ ORIGINAL PEOPLE

Ya know... long before slavery..

think

lmao

natives are a seperate population with their OWN seperate areas and their own justice system

they were seperated to manage and police themselves

blacks chose to 'assimilate' and are paying a pretty dear price

problem is cops dont even know/understand most of the laws they enforce. they think just because they have a badge its an excuse to do whatever they want. someone needs to start holding bad police accountable for their actions, and it cant be other police or people who know and have a relationship with the cops in question. i've seen firsthand cops abuse their authority and beat/falsely arrest people and get away with it everytime, because now in this country your guilty until proven innocent. a friend of mine witnessed someone getting beat by like 4-5 cops and he yelled to the cops "hey that isnt necessary" 5 seconds later hes in handcuffs being charged with disorderly conduct. he went to court and told the judge what happened, the judge said "you were in the wrong place at the wrong time" and found him guilty. so much for rights in this country.

i dont care i will still call it what it is. i know what thug means, just cause the media trys to say its means something else, screw them. thug does not mean black people, it means thug. nowhere in the definition does it refer to black people.

Interesting if true.

Look at the timeline.
1. Mayor of Baltimore is one of three that helped Barry work on details of plans to federalize police. Says Barry can use Baltimore as a test site for operations.
2. Media begins to hype Freddie Gray's death and build pressure while National Guard is prepped to start operations in the city
3. Based on posts in social media, police move enforcement to school. They block traffic and buses from taking the students home. Students are prevented from using other transportation or leaving on foot, and are accosted by officers.
After a couple of hours tensions rise and violence begins. Mayor gives order to pull police out of area and allows destruction. Police assault and drive off reporters, preventing them from reporting stand down.
National guard called in and begin Martial Law. Hailed as Heroes for bringing order. Talking heads go on MSM and declare that every city in U.S. is at risk of such violence and that police must be reorganized to closer resemble National Guard response, on a national level.....
See how this works?

I'm an American, big ASSumption there. Euro is just part ONE of my heritage.

But the public, the black powers that be have every reason, NOT to trust the their citizens & criminals, who have proven for over 5 days that they can not be civilized.
We don't have 5,000 National Guard here & (another 5,000 on back up - Thank you govenor.& ) 500 (borrowed) State troopers & a 10pm- 5am curfew & countless schools & colleges & shops & buisness & bus routes closed down & 15+ wounded officers (some unresponsive) & 4 beaten journalist. And countless injuries & millions of dollars in property damage & man power..... And a President & Councilmen calling the rioters " thugs & " criminals"... . because they trust them & think feel sorry for them & make excuses for them.

it didn't have to get to the point its at if measures were put in place to protect people properly instead of hurting them unesseseraly (I think ive spelt that wrong), people are just fighting for equality and to be treated the same as everyone else. the government should step up and do what's right instead of hiding behind closed doors and hoping it will all just go away.

we can all say what we want, but lets not forget what started this. THE POLICE. none of this would be happening right now if "thugs" with badges werent killing people on a daily basis. you can argue about every little detail but the only certainty here is its the fault of the police. like i said NONE of this would be happening if it wasnt for the corrupt police running around beating and shooting people like animals. its not black vs white stop gettin caught up in the media propaganda. black cops murder white people, white cops murder black people, white cops murder white people and yes black cops murder black people. it has absolutely NOTHING to do with race, just cause the media keeps force feeding it to you doesnt mean its true. the point here is that cops act like lawless @$$holes and have no consequences for it. why are cops continuously above the law? they should be held to a HIGHER standard than the average citizen, since these are the people WE PAY with our tax dollars to PROTECT us! remove race from the whole equation and you will see the bigger picture. people that post on here and make it all about race have no clue what the phuk theyre talking about. the government knows theyre way outta line and people are getting tired of it, all of this is just an excuse to militarize the police to intimidate people from taking action against their crooked government. wake the phuk up people.

You sound like you are proud to be considered oppressed and mistreated, like black people are the only ones who have ever experienced slavery or mistreatment or oppression. Sassy wisely mentioned native Americans. I will also throw in THE NOBLE, GREATEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, THE JEWISH PEOPLE. The brightest, beautiful minds ever, Einstein is synonymous with genius. The people who dominate in every facet and field, the most honored with Nobel prizes for their brilliance. No, Jews have never assimilated but we know how to respect the laws of the land. These amazing people were slaves under Egyptian rule and have dealt with injustice for thousands of years!! Once they gained their freedom, did they whine and play the race card? Did they break down and cry? Did they play the religious card? Did they blame society and the police for all the injustices and atrocities committed against them, i.e., the Holocaust? No!!! Can I hear and amen and hallelujah? You know what they did? THEY CHOSE TO RISE ABOVE IT ALL, MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS!! THEY CHOSE A BETTER LIFE FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR CHILDREN AND THEIR GRANDCHILDREN! THEY LEFT A LEGACY OF GRACE AND RESILIENCE AND PERSEVERANCE!!! WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!

the only reason the media always plays the race card is because the main stream media is all government controlled. they want to divide us and make us hate eachother so we are less likely to band together and stand up for justice. they will be the ones sitting back laughing as white and black people murder eachother in the streets, just making the governments job easier. if you guys have never heard of democide before i suggest you look it up. who cares about black brown native american european blah blah blah. your gettin all caught up in the race aspect and not recognizing what the real problem is. the real problem is an out of control oppressive government that is starting to fear its citizens and will do anything necessary to keep themselves in power. "when people fear their government, you have tyranny. but when the government fears its people, you have liberty"... the government is aware that their time is going to be short if they dont oppress the people even further, thats why they are purposely creating these situations to move us even further into a police state and take even more of our rights away. like i said people race isnt the issue, its the out of control government that will do whatever they have to do to keep themselves in power. seriously wake the phuk people its so obvious.
