well generally speaking.. first dates are always three star.. I want her to feel comfortable and relaxed not like she has to put on airs... be pretentious....lol.... a nice little bistro somewhere..... then if she makes it to the second date.... I like to do something outdoors... we have some beautiful parks... I bring two bikes and a light picnic lunch.... I want to make sure she can keep up.. her cardio is good.... it's important later on.lol...then... fourth date..... no I did not skip 3 date .usually I break. the third date.. just to see how needy she is... how understanding she is..... .. fourth date for stars to make up for breaking third date..... ... fifth date breakfast in bed... .... A man with a plan... or you could say.. a calculating son of a b...!! * Makes note: When dating a smart bloke, cancel the 5th date just to see how resilient he is --> never the one after he's canceled, just to see him grovel to make up * |

Where would you go on a first date? it really depends on the lady. but the last 2 first dates which did include a really nice not posh dinner were a trip to the theatre to see a musical and the one before that to the ballet ( a youth presentation of sleepy hollow) |

If a woman wants to be taken out on a date in style, does that make her shallow and high maintenance? How or where would you take her out (or would like to go) on your first date? Be specific please. Meet and greet is exactly that to me. A cup of coffee or beverage to put a real live face to the person I have been chatting with, from there I believe it is mutual then we can make the date thing. First actual date to me should be to do something we share in common. It is still the getting to know you process. If a woman is upfront with that then that is her choice and the man's choice to accept it or not. I personally believe in sharing the cost of dates. I pay, he pays I dont' keep track of it. just kind of works out that way. I do believe if anyone expect 5 star each date then yeah they are high maintenance but that is just me I do enjoy once in a while doing that. I just prefer the more interaction of dating of actually doing something or than eating on a date... |

I know someone who says he has stopped doing dinners on first date
and only does lunch dates I think it was killing his wallet and really why not do this if it's a first meeting |

Almost perfect date. I will trade the trip to Paris and worms for a drive in the sports car, driving on the left side of the road. Lol

All depends...if this is a first meet face to face? I've done a meeting in a park for a jog, met for an afternoon beverage (I don't drink coffee so it might be an iced tea) or I even have a great hotel lobby that I like to meet at, it's got a nice lounge area. And it isn't because it's "handy". lol
Dinner, whether 2. 3 or 4 star is for a second date and the **star** decides what I wear. I have no issue determining the first meet but I expect the man to invite and determine the 2nd date. If that doesn't occur, then the date doesn't happen. Simple. Easy peasy. Of course there are exceptions to all rules. What if the man lives out of town and is traveling to meet me? haha |
