s1owhand - thanks :) so one more question along those lines - if it's less interactive does that mean if he texts back and forth a little that he's still not sure if he likes me or he's afraid? I like texting too, but some guys are more expressive in texts than when we talk normally on the phone. And yeah, I'm not so frustrated right now anymore - I'm tired :) I just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experiences. I have my days when I feel great and I met a cute guy and it seems to be going well - and heck, I even have more great days that have nothing to do with a guy. lol :)

Perhaps his world is really busy...perhaps you are expecting him to be you....perhaps it is just how it is and if it isn't ok with you, tell him so....done.

you can't make too much about whether or not somebody likes to text. it is just different in communication. like email or whatever. if you'd like to hear his voice just text back voice?
and see if he calls. or set up the date via text. either way it is just about trying to find somebody to find. if you know what i mean.

nervesgone - yeah. we met in person at a club last friday night. he kept hitting on me and asked my for my number at the end of the night - after he gave me his. then we text'd each other the next day, saying we'd meet sunday, which didn't work out. then he sent me a text late sunday night saying he was sorry he was busy sunday - and all week until tomorrow (friday) I responded, that's cool, sunday wouldn't have worked anyway, and I am busy all week too. didn't get another text back. it's almost friday.

And s1owhand, yeah, that would be 1 reason to text instead of talk on the phone. he's a flirt so I can see that happening.

well personally i'd just invite him out at a time when it is mutually convenient and if he can't make it happen then write him off and go out with somebody who can.

when it ain't happening it just ain't happening. but if he was a good one for real...it'd be happening.

Imagine having a party over at your studio. Rockstars over. Freinds. Your lawyer and your psychologist over. Everyone starts drinking and soon its all out of hand and uncontrollable. well, thanks for all the help s1owhand. I know you're right - besides, he's only here for another 2 1/2 weeks for training, then he'll be moving on. I just figured if we had hit it off, we could have continued it, but you can't continue something that never really starts :) I have a girls' night planned tomorrow night anyway, so I won't sit around feeling sorry for myself. :)
