Just a quick question.

It seems that most times when I try to copy and paste a word document here to Mingle lately, there ends up being odd and unintended characters. It takes a LOT of editing to correct the text.

Has anyone else experienced this?

PS. Even my "historic" profile has been affected.

Incase you haven't solved the problem, try using Wordpad instead of Word before the paste in to the Mingle2 forums on new documents. Not sure whether a paste from Word to Wordpad first then a paste from Wordpad to Mingle2 forums would work with any existing documents in Word, worth a try.

M$ Word has a lot of formatting information embedd in the document, which is why you're seeing strange characters. As the poster above suggested, use wordpad or notepad to do the typing, copy and pasting. They use ASCII text, no formatting.

Quit surfing those non mingle sites and you won't catch anything to bring back here
