I know is not possible to avoid scammer to be in these kind of sites, but is ironic that after one year only scammers had contacted me, with the old story about " i am a sailor/engineer/business man widow with a little girl and a mother ill bla bla.."

It's kind of crazy right? Just avoid those who have no info in their profile and especially ignore the ones that say Interests: Ask me Later. Pure BS.

Try this on for size. I contacted someone i was interested in and invited them to chat. She offered me her email as well as her phone number. I am in Dallas and i noticed the prefix was Boston. That dosent always mean anything.Anyhoo i noticed that the individual was having trouble spelling.I overlooked this based on her photo...tee hee hee no ones perfect.So i noticed the broken english like hood talk or gutter slang.Too many glitches in the matrix for me so i called her on the BS i asked her,him or it to shoot me over a photo with her holding up a piece of paper with my name on it. True to life the individual started doing the funky chicken and came up with excuses why they couldnt do that so i know what you mean but thats one scammer that bit the dust.

This is what I'm going to do in the future when I talk to someone on a site like this. Have them post a pic with her name or your name. Perfect!

Yes, it happens. It makes the real guys/service members/veterans look bad. There are real guys here though.
Be vigilant in spotting the fakes but don't give up. Hopefully you'll find a real manyou like.

I keep saying this over and over participate in the forums......
scammers don't last five minutes in here.....
and when you have a potential suitor invite him to join on the forums.....
you will soon know if he is true or not....

I live in Dallas and basically 95% of the people I've chatted with claim they live here, but after a little chat? No they live in Africa, the Phillipines, South America -_-

I've yet to chat with one real person from my area I believe. Have had some real chat with friendly people overseas who aren't hiding anything though lol....
