Topic: How do you relax after a hard days at work?

I finally found the word "work" in my English-Melmacian dictionary. It is on the page with all of the other 4-letter words that Melmacians aren't supposed to say.

My twice weekly 5-a-side football (soccer ) games, with my mates and their teenage sons. In my early 40's and i can still run rings round guys over half my age!

Good for you..... keep on doing that and you will still be running rings around those teenagers when they are in their 20s!! My bro who is 50 and bro-in-law, 54, are still having their weekly football games with their mates. Yeah....that is good, right!

Love my football though, can't imagine ever stop playing it, but i entertain and try to teach the youngsters the bag of tricks, that i honed growing up and playing football on all sorts of surfaces. I was good enough to play semi-pro, when i was younger and could've went further had i not broke my leg badly, but gotta deal with what life throws at you and i wouldn't change a thing!

Spent the night with an old classmate and childhood friend who I had not met for more than 20 years, who is back from Australia. It was so good to catch up and bring each other up to date with what life has thrown into our paths. Time flies when you are having fun and relaxing.... !

I have discovered that a hot shower makes all the difference in the world. . and a change of clothes.. .. if I don't have a hot shower and change out my work clothes.. .. I feel as though, my work day is not over... and if this happens.. .. usually I will just slip into house work mode.. and then when I finally sit down... I feel totally exhausted.... .. but if I have a shower and change out of my work clothes.. first.. . I tend to have a more relaxed state of mind... it signifies the end of the work day.. and the start of me time.. .. if that makes sense..lol ..

Like tonight, got the wee man down ( hopefully for the night! ) made my missus her dinner, feet up, beer in hand and ready to watch the Capital cup football match Liverpool v Chelsea, kick off in about 3 minutes time. Whoo-hoo!!

I think it would be great to relax with a book, listen to some good music, and sink into bed......and just have a good nights sleep!

Oh crabapples are we supposed to be working? Beautiful work seacoast my mom was a beader, I have boxes and boxes of the stuff to sell when I return to the states. I'm personally a needle and thread kind of girl if it involves yarn needles hooks of any kind im in.
