I want to cry but my heart say smile.
A police officer being shot is nothing to smile about. Needing a heart transplant? for the people that believe in karmic justice, they have plenty to smile about... not everyone thinks like you david A police officer being shot has nothing to do with justice. What in the hell does it have to do with justice? Oh and BTW, it is the majority of the worlds opinion! |

The incident comes after a federal investigation concluded the police department in the mid-sized U.S. city in New Mexico used excessive, even deadly, force against passive civilians. Someone help me understand what this statement mean? Maybe I'm reading it all wrong an the 'cops are clean as can be. To me all policemen should be heros but there not. Your putting your own spin on to it. A couple of bad officers (which you will get at every department were doing those things, not the majority of the department. You will always have bad apples and now that the feds arte involved the bad apples will pay for their crimes. |

Well...... I can think of better ways to put your city on the map, but it appears ALBUQUERQUE police have their own idea. From selling loose cigs in NY to camping in NM...... but it's all about the abuse by police of ONLY the black race....according to the likes of NotSoSharpton, the WH, and others in DC Two Albuquerque Officers Charged With Murder Of Homeless Camper Albuquerque, NM- Albuquerque officers Dominique Perez and Keith Sandy were charged with murder on Monday in the shooting of homeless camper James Boyd. Boyd, who had been accused by police of illegally camping (the man was homeless) in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains, was ultimately shot and killed by Sandy and Perez, a SWAT team member, on March 16th, 2014 during a standoff lasting several hours. The shooting provoked national criticism of the Albuquerque Police Department after video was released that appeared to show Boyd, who was in possession of two small knives, surrendering just before he was shot by Sandy and Perez. Oh and BTW, it is the majority of the worlds opinion! and you know this how? i know your "cop friendly" don, but like it or not, the rest of the world isn't... It is a very small number of cops that are dirty or who abuse their authority. Very small. Those bad apples are usually caught pretty quickly. These men and women go to work everyday knowing they might not come home that night but they still go out there every day to keep us safe. The polls in the aftermath of the Criminal Michael Brown showed the majority of American's are behind law enforcement, not against. |

Since some are celebrating the shooting... Was the victim at least carrying skittles?

just remember , America and the WORLD are two different things
systems of authority all over the world are different here in America, the populace still has the wild west mentality, cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers where cowboys are admired, you shoot first and ask questions later, and cops are heroes most people are not corrupt,, but some are, and we are approaching a time when people finally realize cops are just people and though not all are corrupt,, there are those who are they aren't an automatic hero because of their uniform, nor can we automatically assume they are beyond corruption, or dishonesty only their individual actions will tell us that,,, |

I believe there are many who do just that, even if the news doesn't report it and I understand others may be scared to speak out but it should be more the expectation to speak out and more shameful to keep quiet I believe its been the other way around for too long,,,that tendency for them to back each other up no matter what, at the EXPENSE of the citizens,,,,is a small part of the problem, but a part nonetheless |
