if we were married,, sure

however, it would be a suspect request and I would wonder how strong our relationship was if they asked such a thing

if the S/O would even want them, they are no S/O, and if they demand them, they are I/O.

equal wants, as equal, of BOTH, be S/O's.

i know, right? just asking, unless there was a VALID reason for asking, puts a flag on them...

S/O's will generally share a home, cars, bank accounts, beds.... how could a social
media site password matter. i could care less either way really.

sometimes, all times, what we should give or would give, has no bearing on what is best to give, to create a good outcome.

but most deem if they wanna do it, it be good...

so will deny self created any of the outcome???

the unsane.

how many bad outcomes does it take before one questions what it self inputed into the equation to create a good outcome, but such did not create such, does it take for one to sea it's own inputs in error?

the blind never sea a different input from them self would have created better, different for sure than what was.

Would I give my passwords to my social media to my significant other?
Er... what social media is this, exactly? If she wants to look at my dating profiles, she can take a look at 'em - they're pretty much all the same.
On a larger scale... I can see myself sharing passwords for most of my accounts on various things, if she asks. What goes around comes around though, and I'd expect her to give me her passwords to the same kinds of things. There are a few things I'm keeping to myself, like my personal banking information. I'd give her the password to my Steam account, I guess - but I don't have my payment information on file there, so she'd still have to pay for games herself! Muahaha!

There's being honest and inclusive, and then there's just being foolish and interdependent.

Not even sure what the relevance in asking that would be. Social media is a dying fad anyway.
 yup

to coddle and pacify the insecurities of others only make the insecurities of others larger and bigger each day.

I agree. My ex-boyfriend always left his cell phone lying around but I was never once tempted to snoop into his phone as it simply is none of my business. Just as space is necessary in a relationship; so is privacy.

Some will argue: "well you MUST have something to hide by NOT being willing to give them all access."

What do you say to that?

Or

What if you're married; is your spouse entitled?

My friend has been married for 30 years. He doesn't give his wife his password for his computer or phone and she also doesn't give him the passwords. They trust each other and just don't feel the need to know each other's passwords. They respect each other's privacy.
