If it's marriage we're talkin about, I would only be using one social site and he wouldn't need a password to access it!

Not to business or banking.
Momma didn't raise a fool.
I wouldn't ask for my SO's passwords.
Also, keys for gun cabinet will not be given.
Like I said...momma didn't raise a fool.

I don't see why I would .. If he would actually use them and felt the need to check out what I've posted online, the relationship wouldn't be equal anymore. That's something a parent may do with a child, and even then it can be perceived as invasion of privacy. If my partner feels he can - or has to - treat me like a child and can't even trust me, he can sod off

The other way round I seriously do need to be able to trust a partner with what he does online. I couldn't trust my last partner, it's probably for the best I don't know exactly what he did, or whom with. What I do know, is more than enough for 1 lifetime.
If I'd sniff out my partner is doing things online that aren't in the relationship package, the chit will hit the fan, real hard!

I don't see the point if she wanted to know what i was doing on social media she can go look. If she asked for them I'd ask why she needed them. And I would also ask if I did something to betray her trust or if someone previously had. If it were the latter I would calmly explain how I am not that person and should not be treated as such but at the same time could understand her state of mind. Things like asking for passwords show an underlying problem which would need to be sorted out before people can move forward. Discussing problems help find solutions to those problems.

No, I don't have time nor tolerance for such things.

I like where your head is at; but it may not be reciprocal.

Not even sure what the relevance in asking that would be. Social media is a dying fad anyway.
