... how many of you suffer from aches and pains..... is it" hard" to get out of bed in the morning...lol.... do you sit on the edge of your bed.. listening to your body Creak and moan...
.. do you hobble around... favor one knee over the other..... I have lived a life of.. very hard physical work... I find.. now that I am slightly older...lol... that all that.. improper lifting.. lack of stretching... and even too much late night partying... is coming back to roost...... .. my feet constantly ache... . my back is shot... my right hip will go out... from time to time... especially if I sit down at one of those...hmmm... food court.... tables.. too long.. I go to get back up.. and my hip locks up..ohhh.. painful and embarrassing..lol.. my eyesight is worsening by the second.. I have a reoccurring corn... between my big toe and the one next to it.. that.. constantly burns like a mother..f..er .... I just find that I feel.. that I hurt on more days then I feel good..... ... I used to be pretty flexible... ... now I can barely cross one leg just to cut my toenails...lol..... what are your aches and pains.... and yes me being a pain in the *** does not count...lol . . |

lol. hey you
I like your disclaimer at the end. my constant ache and pain is left shoulder and right knee. the cartilage is disappearing. that just means learning to adapt but still enjoying life. (as long as we can be flexible for the things that count ) send you a big hug |

Wow, I'm all turned on now!!
The corn between your toes .. did it for me! As for the question .. I've got hyper-laxity .. used to be fun .. with certain erm .. activities, lol. Now I got to be a bit careful with my back, but mostly my neck, got a neck injury, which doesn't really bother me as long as I don't (have to) do stuff that puts strain on it. Eye-sight .. had my eyes lasered 12 years ago .. Can still do without reading glasses, also because I had my eyes lasered, nice side-effect :) Stopped eating pork and potatoes on a daily basis recently .. (pork is one of the worst things to eat if you got joint/bone/muscle issues) Good physiotherapist, preferable a good osteopath, can work miracles for you! |

.. yes.. adapting, dealing , coping with your aches and pains.. learning to live with the discomfort... ..... I find once I'm up and going... I cope quite well.... but I'm always reminded throughout the day..... ... of my .. aging falling apart body..lol ...... I can no longer drive at night... unless I have to..... my eyesight is so blurry.... I have to just focus... to keep things in focus...lol.... and my.. memory.. my ability to recall... to retrieve certain information from my mind......... .. ........hmmmmm......hmmm.... what was I just talking about....lol... and my lack of attention... is vanishing... I swear... I have a shower wash my hair.. literally 3 seconds later I can't remember if I washed my hair or not...lol..... oh and don't get me started on hair loss....lmao.... oh yes ladies.. all this and more can be all yours..... just leave me a message. .. I'll try to reply... if A I can remember where . my mailboxs is . and B.. able to focus and read the message... so please higher case everything..lol . . |

I really don't have any aches/pains, if you don't
count the torn rotator cuff on my left side. The secret is, use it or lose it. Age has a toll. You can pay it reluctantly :-) |

Aches and pains just remind me that I'm alive.
A lifetime of injuries to remind me of my past. Over use and self abuse. Can't figure out why the only part that never hurts, is my willy. |

You can pay it reluctantly :-) Yeah .. in my case most chit isn't age related, but due to my 2nd neck injury, indoor accident. If I'd make a list of all the things that has an impact on .. varying from socializing (ie. talking to ppl sitting next to me) to reading a book or sitting at the table writing .. chronic tinnitus and a gazillion things in between .. I try to steer clear from thinking about all that too much .. just adept .. I've had chronic pain for over 20 years. I'm almost used to it. Seriously can't even remember what it's like to not have that. It's like living close to a busy road, you just don't hear it anymore after a while .. |

You can pay it reluctantly :-) How did you tear your rotator cuff? Thats a very delicate muscle, do you have limited shoulder movement and pain when pushing r lifting anything? I lifted a sewing machine, then bent over to place it in a trunk. Kapowwwwwwwwie! Yes, tis painful and I have limited movement in that shoulder to which I have adapted..more like I simply do not do certain things with it any more. Everyone I have talked to (including the anesthetist during a colonoscopy, who happened to have had the same thing) go in for multiple operations for it with limited success. Thanks for the ask. My advice is, don't get one :-) So, no1phD, have you had a colonoscopy yet? |

noooooo... exit only..lol Ah hah! Just you wait!! They aren't so bad. Kind of an adventure really. Except the part when the dr. had trouble getting the camera around a sharp bend. Started ramming it like a sewer snake. We had words then |

Aches and pains come with age....
I have my share mainly my knees... If I sit too long they surely remind me.. As I get older, other joints remind me I'm not as young as I use to be... With the onset of Arthritis, Bursitis and Osteoporosis... Only time will tell how it will effect my joints later in life... For now, I have added vitamins and other supplements... In order to stay away from prescriptions drugs.... So far what pain I have only gets to me from time to time.. I learn to slow down those times and only take something if I must... The times I seem to over do it , it takes me a few days for the aches to go away.... |

Someone said: the morning I will eake up and will feel no pain I will be dead.
Since I have pain from 20 years I don't think about little pain anymore. But sometimes after running might my hipps ake a lot so I cant sleep because of the pain. My receipy is to do a reagular excercises, some activity you love just on the level you can manage it. And good fysioterapeut. And dont think about the pain. Everybody suffers of some. |
