“Open Your Heart”


As I look back at the things I have lost.
And what it has cost.
I wonder why.
At times I even try.
For I no longer can see.
What good it even does to plea.
For it seems no one will hear.
Or even notice you shed a tear.
So what good does it do?
To let another even know.
The way you feel.
Why should one even reveal.
What is within there heart.
So you can watch another part.
I can not understand why.
Some don’t take the time to see instead they deny.
The things they feel inside.
Instead they push those feelings aside.
Could it be because they are afraid?
They will be betrayed.
But how will they know.
If they never take time to let love grow.
Until you finally let someone in your heart.
You can not see that they are different from the start.
They could end up being the one.
That finally your heart they could have won.
You will never know until you do.
For you will never see that they were true.

ahhh the dangers of opening your heart...........not sure if I will ever do that again except for friends..........sometimes you just have to keep things closed for awhile

snugglesbyfire ohhh girl your so wrong I know the feeling you are going through have been there myself and felt the same way but then realized if I shut my heart then how will I ever know when the one that is right for me is really there for I did not give it a chance. Take time to mend but never shut your heart off to others.
