guess it is time for me to deactivate, I just want to continue slipping in here and reading but it is doing too much damage to my eyes, am legally blind right now, still what sight I have left permits me to live on my own don't want to lose that. so I will be off here in another 24 hours will certainly miss the friends I have made here, only wish I could stay around but this is beyond my control. I beat alcohol a few years ago, just recently beat tobacco, would prefer to be lonesome and still able to take careof myself. good luck to all in whatever you seek, hope you find it.

have used that magnifier for quiet awhile but it is not helping now, still too much eyestrain. not a good thing.

good luck to you widower, go and see a low vision specialist not just an opthamologist. there are many more aids out there other than magnifying glasses. and always go to a private practice dr not a chain you'll get better service.
