Hmzzz ... that's not what I think about when I think about love ...
Makes me think of that funny feeling in my tum when I think of him ... when he texts/Apps me or calls me .. Melting when we look into each other's eyes .. feeling his arms around me and know & feel that I'm home, where I belong .. to see that feeling mirrored in his eyes and feel it in the touch of his lips .. and when we're not touching at all .. Heart ache, sure .. comes with the territory.. but .. if you never dare shoot an arrow out of fear to miss your aim .. or because you can't accept that maybe your aim wasn't the right one .. you will never find your true love .. Take care .. time will heal .. all wounds, IF you let it ..

.. love..hmmm... when I was a young man I looked.. for love...
. now that I'm an old man... I no longer look for love first.. I want to feel the chemical reaction that.. that being in love produces... but with Love Comes heartbreak.... I much prefer "like you a lot"... these days.. .. I like cherries on my ice cream Sunday.... but I'm not going to fall apart... if you forget to put one on my Sunday... I'm not going to phone you up and say... WHYYYY...WHYYYY.. DID YOU.. BREAK MY HEART.. BY NOT PUTTING THE CHERRY ON MY SUNDAY....LOL... now with just liking.. .. it is more like...AWww.. where's my cherry...hmmm.. now I'm not going to share my Sunday with you.. oops.. would you look at that.. I just spilled some of my Sunday on my pecs.. it's now slowly running down to my abs...ohhhh.. too bad I'm not going to share... you should have remembered the cherry...lol . |

.. love..hmmm... when I was a young man I looked.. for love... . now that I'm an old man... I no longer look for love first.. I want to feel the chemical reaction that.. that being in love produces... but with Love Comes heartbreak.... I much prefer "like you a lot"... these days.. .. I like cherries on my ice cream Sunday.... but I'm not going to fall apart... if you forget to put one on my Sunday... I'm not going to phone you up and say... WHYYYY...WHYYYY.. DID YOU.. And sure we all are careful, we all got hurt one way or another ... thing is that ppl who are too afraid to open up .. they will create a self-fulfilling prophecy and keep experiencing that indeed all women/men are wrong/bad/gold diggers/toxic men or whatever their hangup is .. Sure they may get laid a lot, and if that is enough for someone ... but if you want to truly be happy again .. you gotta have the balls to take a risk .. Must admit I'm also chit scared, but f***** if I'm gonna let my life be ruined because of what happened in the past. I don't want "I like" I want the sundae with the lot! Not even just the cherry, I want whipped cream as well! I'm not gonna settle for just a sundae, even though I am chit scared. Maybe my 'balls' are bigger than yours

A Broken Heart!!! loving the wrong person does lead to heartbreak. not many will deny that. many of us on here have had our world shattered when love didn't turn out as we expected. love is a risk, a joy and a commitment. falling in love is a risk. what if it doesn't work? what if I get my heart broken again? what if the other person does love me, can we make it work and be happy? love in its many forms is a joy. loving the happy giggles of children when you spend the daytogether. loving people around you just because you have love in your heart to give to others. loving that special someone. enjoying spending time together. sharing. laughing love is a commitment. once you fall in love it doesn't magically keep going. it's an effort everyday to make it work. wish you the best |
