doesn't it? "I really really like that picture of you in the pink blouse/blue shirt!" (innocent and banal enough statement) If you're attracted to the person, it is incredibly flattering and makes you smile, and feel a "certain way". If you are NOT, it suddenly is "creepy", and makes you feel a whole DIFFERENT way. Sad but true. No?

It's the same in public situations. If you catch someone looking at you (non-threatening), either you are stimulated or uncomfortable.

Sad but true, Beach.....but that is only a mild bland compliment there..... Sad but true.....even a mild bland compliment from the wrong person and it is creepy..... Sad but true.....some around here dont know the meaning of a compliment..... Sad but true.....lewd comments are the mostly the norm for some here.....and they are not compliments.... Sad but true.....

If we are attracted to the person true we will pursue it farther if we are not we tend to over look that person. But at times when we get to talking to that person their personality will reel us in...

If the compliment you get is from a creepy crepster it sounds more like an insult.. Some people has a crazy serial killer brain that cant figure out how to put compliment in to a right words.. Sad but true..

For me it does,those were the ones I found myself more attracted to,even at some point ,best of friends,sooo,actually it does to some degree!

You're huge...AND such a great lover" from a woman with nice t*ts and a perky butt that they spent hours buying drinks for, over a 300# double-bagger they picked up at 1:52A at the bar, I suppose. Again, sad but true. No?

well I think the op.. is speaking on.. .. connection.. how if you have a connection.. with someone physically or emotionally.... how your compliments are words.... can be taken.. as a sincere form of a..compliment... but if there is no attraction... those same words.. can be taken... are seen to come off as creepy.... at least that is how I'm reading it.... but my question still stands to Klc...

this is the title of the thread: 'It depends on your attraction' Yup, yup...it's amusing to me how - in 2014 - it still comes as such a surprise to *many* that we women are allowed to be as attracted to those who are attracted to us. It's in The Rules, and ****.
