they believe that the universe and all where not created by a higher being and that ( for the most part) there is I scientific explanation for or existence... for the most part, I am sure there is different variations.

I happen to believe there is a God, a higher power. And we have hope there is, because if it is ever proven that the atheists are correct, this world as we know it is done. Without the concept of people thinking they eventually have to answer to a higher power for their deeds on earth this world will revert back into the wild west. mayhem, chaos.. every man for himself.

I think there as many reasons that people don't/wont/ believe as there are that they do believe.

its necessary to really speak with and observe individuals to try to find a 'reason' behind their reasoning

most atheists I have spoken to have chosen atheism simply because they have no faith and cant/wont believe anything that cant be clearly and tangibly proven to them

and they often have , what I believe to be, misguided views between how a God SHOULD Be and how God is,,,,ie


why would a loving God condemn people to hell or allow children to die,, or allow misery in the world,,,or how could such and such from the bible be true if SCIENCE has proven such and such,,,,,,etc,,,etc,,,etc,,,

Reading the Bible from cover to cover also helps to get a full picture of the God.

How God destroyed the whole world in flood for the sake of nephilims yet only to find that evil is back already in next post-flood generation.
How men women and children of Sodom & Gomorrah were genocided though it were only men who were sinners (guilty of buggery).
Genocide of the firstborns in Egypt, Genocide of the Canaanites, Genocide of the Benjamin tribe, more genocides to follow... sigh.

Atheist are atheists because they are repulsed by what they have been told god is and by what they have been told god expects, by self serving agenda's. so then they have not yet seen any true representation of gods, and they have not talked to gods personally, only those who say they speak for gods, so who can be judged or blamed if none have a true accurate picture of gods of honor and caring who indeed have more power than the human child gods, as it was writ all were, so to get the real true story, onje it self would have to talk to the gods, but they only grant an audiance to whom asks for an audiance to get more knowing to help others, and all others are told fools lies, so many have only heard self interest fools lie's in their lifetime, which can leave one following a fools folly for advice of merit, but these fools filled with wishes to make them self important and self superior in their own eye's, only dosed out self superior thoughts to others to gain self importance and monetary followings with great riches for them self to gain, done so in the name of gods, but these who have done so will immediately repent once they have met power face to face, realizing they have mislead and confused to no longer feel self inferior, so swallowed the bait put forth to ensnare the greedy and vain self important.

too bad they didn't really believe there actually was a god, for if they did, they would have never had the gall to say they speak for another, for even humans the child gods consider it unkind and unfair to speak for another.

the idea of "god" was created by the human as an answer to all the missing facts long time ago when he lacked enough knowledge ..... well , do you think it's still needed today ?

atheist's are what they are because there is no proof of god no nothing and the god that Christians for example believe in is some sort of monster who thinks paedophilia and slavery is a good thing( exodus). ( in the old testament and the new. if you are a sane and functioning person why would you need some make believe fantasy to govern your life. if you actually take the time to read the bible and look at the actual proof of science you would see the bible is all hearsay and Jesus was in two places at once doing the same thing its like the diaries of a mad man. if you look at the science there is no need to even think because the actual facts are right there for you to see touch and smell. give me real life any day

Both the Bible and the Quran teach love and understanding, but you always have a small group of people that only preach what they want to hear.

athiests are athiests, because its allows them to acess the whole world and do what ever they want with absolutely no consequences, as their laws of the finite realm here, they cant do what ever these please here, but within that realm they can do what ever they want which in normaly would require eternal consequences by the ultimate judge God himself, wipe him out and you can mold humanity into anything you like and claim what is right for yourself, there by fulling engaging in the pleasures around, with out percieved guilt, they only use pseudo science of evolution to cover up the true desire, to validate their lifestyle as perfectly ok because its the "natural" course of life. In a sense you could say they are trying to be a god, buts its more along the lines of having a liscense to do whatever you want freely

Kinda like how accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as one's Savior forgives all one's sins is "along the lines of having a liscense do to whatever [one wants] freely",
