If a man thinks he is complimenting me all the while he is obviously lying
#1: he's not fooling ANYone, least of all, me; and #2: it would make me question his sincerity when *truthfully* telling me he loves me. There may come a day that he'd actually like me TO believe he loves me and for me TO believe that he doesn't want me to permanently leave the relationship. |
