How should you go about it? NOT Reasons as to why not have been given. My daughter had a thing with one of my son's mates a few times. The havoc that wreaked between them, pffff ... Came close to bashing each other's skulls in. My son was not happy, all his mates knowing that one of them was intimate with his younger sister. Angry with his sister for putting him in that position and angry with the particular mate for being intimate with his sister. Poor kid was torn in two. Go figure what it'd be like to hear his mum was intimate with his mate ... I don't think he'd forgive me, ever. Be a mum, give vent to cougar tendencies outside of your family's circle.
