I know we usually post things about our children and our friends on here but I would just like to take a minute and say something to my parents....

Mom and Dad,

May you have a wonderful day today, and may you be as happy today as you were 54 years ago when you were wed. Thank you for all you have done for me and my girls.

I think that being married for 54 years is an amazing thing. Amazing because it shows the world the marriage can work, and the people in it can still be in love. It shows me the way things are supposed to be. And I say thank you for being a role model that we all need to see.
Happy Anniversary. May there be many more.

Telling you all the places they were fixing to explore.
Running and playing from the first daylight.

Soon it was time to call them in to eat.

Girl I would be honored if you did, for I'm sure it would bring a smile to there face as they read it knowing it was wrote just for them. In return it would bring a smile to my face just knowing you wanted to give it to them on this specail day. They have truly been blessed having so many years together. And such a loving family.

Dear JSH members,

Hello, this is Eileen's mother, I just wanted to say a heartffelt thank you to all of you who sent us warm wishes for our anniversary.

If I had to do it all over again, the trials and tribulations included, I would, because it was with the man I adore. It hasn't always been a bed of roses because you need the manure to make things grow and come out right. But beautiful things have come out of it, and we have seven children and 13 grandchildren.

Thank you for the beautiful poem, I have printed it out and will have it framed in our den. It was so right on target with the way we raised our children, that it seems like you knew us during that time.

Eileen was right, the people on this site are genuine and special, thank you for being there for her and for the wishes for my husband and I.

it does me good to see a couple who is willing to stick it out through the bad times as well as the good, just wish you many more years of married bliss.

Awwww just read this it touches my heart to know that I touched your heart as well. But you see I must confess as far as the poem I write them the way the feelings comes to me from the person I talk to. So when there is so much love coming from one then you know the one they are talking about truly touches there heart so therefore your love came through Eileena's words for the love she has for her parents. Which is a treasure in itself and says alot for her parents. In order to touch her heart with so much love.
