i heard i had a bit of an accent the other day, and i told him, no i don't, I'm from the midwest...we talk just like the ppl on tv...so we're not the ones with the accents...everyone else is...

i agree....everyone thinks i sound like one of the characters f/ the movie fargo....i live pretty close to there but my accent is that bad...at least i don't think so

Yeah, i konow what u mean. Im from NY so i always get commented on my accent, im such a sucker for accents though

I have what most call a southern accent but when I lived in the deep south everyone would get frustrated because they couldnt understand what I was saying they thought I talked like a "yankee". Whatever it is I definetly have some kind of accent its a mash of South Georgia "redneck" and Eastern Kentucky "hillfolk" . I think a real deep south accent is slow and melodic and the farther north you get the faster and choppier it gets .

When I go to fargo I just imitate the swedish chef from the muppets and hell people think I live there. Irshky, birshky, eiken, eeshky! Chicken!

Well I'm a Geordie. From Newcastle, Although I've lost my accent to a certain extent.

Way up in northern canada the accents are more of a rambling than an accent. I think its from years of its so cold outside let's say what we have to say and say it fast before we freeze. Something like this: "wellwhydontwegohaveamolsonsandtalkaboutit eh?". Fritos anyone?
