why is it when someone new calls you they always say oh my god you have an accent?? well,, umm,, duh?? i come from north carolina and yeah,, its in the south,, and i would imagine i would have a southern accent. just like when i talk to someone from anywhere in ny,, i can tell they are from there. why is it such a shock that i would have an accent,, i would belive ou should expect someone from a certain area to have that accent. i dunno,, maybe im just nuts for thinking

I sound like a californian.......no one believes Im a canuck........though the guy in a paint store in oakland thought I sounded like I was from minnesota..............basssssssssssssssstard!!!!!!!!!!

i been told i sound like alot of accents lol what i cant stand is when a northen tries to talk like a southern in the movies. come on this 21 th centry.

haha I used to have a roomate hairdreser.........we were both hairstylists at the time and he would use this english accents on unsuspecting girls at the bar............lmaooooooooooo sometimes he would slip up !!!!!! the chicks went wild over the english accent though!!!

i can tell upstate from the city accents. upstate is a little more mellow,, city is harsh
