Topic: Females dislike sexual regulation. | |
---|---|
Husbands and fathers require authority if they are to function as providers and protectors. ("He shall rule over thee," God says to Eve, Genesis 3:16.) Without the sexual loyalty of wives there can be no family. Patriarchal civilization depends on female chastity. Without it men cannot have families and children cannot have fathers.
This is the hitch, the reason we have a feminist revolution: Females dislike sexual regulation. Feminists say "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle," "A woman has a sacred right to control her own sexuality," "End human sacrifice! Don't get married!" Women's primary object, according to feminist Anne Donchin, is to create a society in which "women can shape their reproductive experiences to further ends of their own choosing." |

Oddly enough I do think you have a point. Unfortunately this was what I was raised to believe and it still actually makes sense. Alot of these problems started with the rise of Feminism and I do believe a strong family stems from a strong father. I do find it interesting though how the successfulness of a family depends so heavily on the women's vagina...very interesting indeed. As much as I do (truly) believe the whole 'man is the head of the household' thing DOES actually create strong families, it's interesting that they are not strong enough to keep it in their pants when they are not getting 'it' when they want 'it'. Are we turning into a muslim society where it's the women fault that the man cheats because her lack of sex made him run into the arms of another? Where is the 'strength' and 'stability' of a strong man in that? Strong, good, loyal men are that with or without their women's vagina...it's called having plain old-fashioned 'Morals' |

two glitches in the argument
the first (perhaps just an oversight) 1. True female chastity would REQUIRE male chastity as well. who else would men have sex with if they were raising and expecting women to be chaste? 2. Women are not 'ruled' by men, only HUSBANDS have authority over THEIR Wives,,,, so the idea that women should not have control over their own sexuality/bopdy is flawed, biblically speaking. only once one is married does one no longer I do believe in ANY society(patriarchal or matriarchal), if Husbands were more like Christ in their leadership/sacrifice/obligations/love and women were more like the church in their support and love of such men families would be stronger after all Christ was crucified for his church, many 'husbands' will barely get up off the couch and get their wife a cool drink when she is tired or hot from taking care of home and family I find it humorous that so many of these actually defend their behavior with the bible,,,, unfortunately, many (not necessarily the op) love to quote the bible as an excuse to just be 'in charge' with no concern for the comparison that is made to CHRIST And how Christ lead and loved,,, |

The argument is flawed. I am not christian, so in no way does this apply. I'm a dominant female with a divine feminine.
And the old testament is the old testament for a reason. |

I believe in equal partnership. no one had "authority" over my personal life. I do agree tho that if men want chaste women they can start by setting the example...lolk |

for Christians (Which I realize does not apply to everyone ) bible based marriages call for both parties to have 'authority' over each others bodies, and no longer to have a 'my body' and 'your body;, but 'our body',,,,,
the wifes body is for the husbands pleasure just as his is for hers,,, and the husband is to be the 'head', just as Christ was head of church |

I see much of that's as man's rules (or interpretations have you) and outdated culturally. so don;t interest me. I also do not believe in either partner as the head of the household... i don;t buy into all of that but am very much a christian with the state of many of today's churches, there are bigger things to worry about IMO and there are many beautiful things in what you have said outside of who is in charge that I totally |

So?
Don't mess with them then, not difficult. Know how many problems I've had with feminists? None, because I don't waste my time with them. |

So? Don't mess with them then, not difficult. Know how many problems I've had with feminists? None, because I don't waste my time with them. so how do you know if someone is a feminist? Is there a checklist? |
