Walked out onto the (enclosed) back patio area couple days ago to find the cat "on high alert" on something in the back yard. Took me a moment to spot, but was a critter cousin (?) to the Horny Toad. Kept looking and saw a 2nd. Finally figured out the pair were going thru the mating ritual. Their lengths, from nose to tail, were about 6 inches. Did get a couple of pictures thru the glass, and will post, if anyone has any interest. (and can figure out how to get it out of cell.) |
