I haven't visited here lately and thought I would say hi, I hope all my friends on this conversation are doing well. I have had a tough last month but hopefully 2016 will be a better year. I lost my sweet girl Daisy New Year's Eve morning and so it has been a tough time. Miss y'all!!!!! Ohh no I'm so sorry to hear that. I know she was very well loved. Loosing our fur babies is very hard to deal with.. Seems they are only with us a short time... My heart goes out to you it is a very hard thing to deal with... Just remember she knew she was loved and all the joy she brought to your life...

Thanks Kristi. She was my girl and I miss her like crazy. She was only 4 so was gone too soon. But she did have a wonderful home and knew she was loved every day. And she gave me love, companionship and happiness every day I had her from when she was just a puppy.

Ohh my did not realize she was only four. I have had sassy for eight years now and she was about a year old when she was rescued.
Out of all the dogs I have had and passed away she will be the one that I'm not sure what I will do when it comes that time.. All the happiness they give and love it is hard when something happens to them.. I just can't image not having sassy around..

That's the way I felt about Daisy. I had never bonded with a dog like I did her. I never thought about losing her because I thought I had many years left. Somehow you take a step at a time. Give Sassy an extra hug! |

That's the way I felt about Daisy. I had never bonded with a dog like I did her. I never thought about losing her because I thought I had many years left. Somehow you take a step at a time. Give Sassy an extra hug! Ohh I do every day~~ She is my ray of sunshine and brings more love and smiles in my life then I thought I could ever imagine
Took her to the groomers Saturday and even though it is only for a short time it drives me nuts cause she is always by my side when I'm home... And damn if I don't end up calling her name cause she is not beside me or in my lap... lol  The groomer loves her she always smiles at them and they think that is just the neatest thing.. Well that and she is so easy to groom she just stands there for them and smiles lmao
Ohh and by the way the repairs are coming along really good...Living room, hallway, bathroom and my room are complete.. Next room is to clean up the front porch and get it like I want it then the extra bedroom.... which I have to have my son replace a section of the ceiling in the big walk in closet where it leaked.. Got the roof replaced so need to repair it and paint that room and get a lot of stuff out to the shed so I can get it all in order. Then I will have a room for you anytime you decide to come visit Texas.. That room will take a little time but mostly stuff I can do except the ceiling. Will still have to do my office and the kitchen is the last one I'm going to tackle cause it needs a lot of work.. But still usable..

I know I will be heading down to my daughter's in College Station the end of May for my grandson's graduation so will see how things are coming there. What did you ever find out about your medical issues after the accident???? And didn't you have an MRI recently??? Keep in touch.
I told Daisy I loved her every day of her life at least once and usually more than once a day. |

Actually the MRI was a while back found out I have 4 herniated disk in my neck.. Lawsuit is still pending.. Due to it is against the City of Fort Worth it may take a while for they tend to drag stuff out.. Went to the lawyers office about a month ago. Said they would be sending them a offer of what we were asking for.. Which they said they never take the first offer.. So now waiting for them to respond ect.. Have heard they normally settle out of court but never for what is asked for in the first place.. Cause they don't like to go to court over these things.. But it could take up to three years for it to be settled.. At least I got my car fixed.. and I'm not out any medical which is somewhere around $27,000. But I'm good have not had any issues with my neck lately.. Once in a while it acts up if I sleep wrong and if I turn it too far to the left.. or look down too long.. So I just avoid those things.. 
Well if you decide or have time in May I will have the extra room finished by then at least I better lmao... Heck if I would just get motivated and off my butt I could get it done within a few weekends.. But I just take my time have not been in any hurry.. lol |
