Do You Enjoy ,Meeting For Coffee The First Time..???

It makes me poo I don't like coffee

A first date is best served with a short meet and greet as too much time and energy are spent before actually meeting and this has a major flaw in its strategy. By meeting a person soon we reduce the tendency to build an imaginary relationship not based on our perception but our needs and then when we do meet for the first time, we find we do not share chemistry and feel cheated as so much time and energy was spent needlessly. A quick cup of coffee or a drink after a careful study of the other persons narrative and a brief phone chat should suffice to make the process much more efficient and less emotionally frustrating as our expectations are reduced which allows a more genuine and direct meeting.In general, the higher our standards and expectations the greater the number of people we are likely to meet to find a specific match and from this its just a numbers game.

well if Im going to take my time,,chatting and phoning
I would hope,I would know them enough to want to spend
more than 15 minutes with someone..
But then again Im very picky on who I will even start chatting
with in the first place...

I have in the past met at a Starbucks that way I have a choice of what I want to drink.. But then I have even met at a fast food place for a soda.... It is all good as long as it is public on the first meet..

I have met for coffee twice. Usually, it's for lunch or dinner.
Never over fast food. My thought...The date only lasts as long as the food.

Meeting for coffee on a day like today, 94 degrees, seems crazy. How about an ice cream or perhaps a Dairy Queen "Blizzard" instead?

I have met people in coffee shops for the first time many times.

All have been good experiences! It's a soothing atmosphere and generally have comfy places to sit and talk. And they don't care how long you stay, drinking coffee or not.

I prefer the drive by!! viewing.
