1028 miles later and I am finally home.
What an amazing place and an amazing time it was. There will be another trip this winter though I believe there will be flying involved. On the 11th my daughter and I rode across the White River to the back part of the ranch. Mind you, we never did quite make it all the way back to the canyon. We rode for 2 1/2 hours and roughly 10 miles in and the same back. The photos I am sharing tonight are sights only seen horseback. What beauty laid before me on that ride. We only came across one rattlesnake and that was early on while it was still fairly cool out. This was my mount for the day. His name is Tony and he is a bit stubborn. He does not like the bit and will rear up unless you figure out how to make him stop. Yes, I figured it out and I no longer had to deal with the rearing.    We were an hour in after finally crossing the river. Decided it was a perfect place for a rest.

I sure missed all of you smexy women and all of the sexy male friends as well
 How are all of you? Anything exciting going on round here? It is so good to be home though I will admit this trip only reassured the journey I am on. It confirmed what I always knew but never dared take the first step towards what I want. |

 My life has been a struggle most days The path was cluttered and most times, hard to see Sometimes wandering aimlessly Never going anywhere but in circles Over this past week I have realized some things Felt these things deep inside of who I am What we think is real and what is are two different things That the path was not cluttered I was just afraid of that first step Knowing my happiness is up to me is something I now feel It floods my heart and eases the pain in my soul The things that are important are what was laid before me Unable to see them because I was not sure what I was searching for As I put the western states in my rear view mirror I left a part of me behind that day My heart aches for what I felt while I was there I cannot explain it as today I know and today I feel What I have always dreamed of, waits for me Calling me loudly now as it is holding my heart in it's embrace Waiting for me to return and continue my journey farther west I cry back to it now, I am coming, I need you now I know this as well as I know anything else in life |
