What my physical "type" is has changed a bit over the years. I think that I can come to love a woman's body and see that as being more beautiful than I did initially but it doesn't seem to work so much that way with faces and I have found myself becoming quite aware of facial features that mar their beauty for me. I felt bad about it with one woman in particular, like I was being a superficial jerk, or worrying about what other people would think of the woman that I was with. It tends to be things that make them look old to me. I can look at a woman and think that she looks good for her age but having a face that looks "lived in" isn't something that atracts me. It's a personal thing and I dare say that some people think that I look ugly because I'm getting on a bit. I spoke to a friend on here about how a lot of young women go through a phase when they only like "pretty boys".

This ratio would seem to make sense as an indicator of a woman's reproductive health. When women age their waist tends to become less pronounced as they put on fat around the stomach. This coincides with them becoming less fertile.
