I think FOC is the only reason to stay at that other joint I am still on the fence about keeping a profile on there. So, I am working from home today. My daughter brought my four year old grandson by to pick up his beach toys. He gave me a huge hug then told me "Gramma, you smell beautiful, like dryer sheets" 
That is sweet. Yesterday we were cleaning out the garage, and I've had in a box some of my aunt's clothes. She died quite awhile ago. She was a professional seamstress and always smelled like ironing. When I opened the box and held the clothes her smell was all over them. Even after all this time. I kept burying my nose in them. It was bittersweet. It made me tear up and smile at the same time. (She raised me, so...like my mom.) |

Here is my beach for the day. When I left here in 2009 I had just finished the limited edition 50 state mutual match collection. It seems as though there are empty places now. However I cannot, in good conscience, complete the collection.

I used to collect those state quarters. I had one of those collection books. Then my roomer/boarder stole some of them (probably to buy cigarettes). He denied it but I don't think the cats did it.
Another good reason to not have roommates. |

THEY are so paranoid in dat udder place!
If there was a town square they'd be holding witch trials and lighting the BBQ. I may never go back, as it will NEVER be the same, not even the illusion of sanity. ED: Oh, geeeeez, I just vomited in my mouth a little.

It is getting pretty bad. I'm glad I stuck around long enough to bring myself back from the dead, though... It freaked a few people out I think...
