I'm a lifelong observer of nature and have come to admire all of mother natures ways, be it from survival of the fittest to the softest of moments between species. Its all a life lesson.

All species are born to live, survive and die.

I see your point life is a Coliseum

My gardens are flowers, but I do have some berry bushes, strawberries, a plum tree and a peach tree. They take care of themselves bigsmile For veggies I only have enough space for a 4ft x 4ft box frustrated But I have two cherry tomato plants and one patio tomato plant in there planted as of the other day

You obviously have a garden, so why container garden and cedars in pots???

Most of my garden is decorative, but last week started some greens. NOt much, as I'm alone, so I don't need much. Tomato, parsley and green beans (seeds), got a zucchini plant the other day, celery, and I think what you call sugar pea or pea pod, not sure. The flat ones, you don't let them get thick with peas in 'em.
Oh, and I got a bell pepper plant. (thought the English called this paprika??)

.. The Cedars I put it in decorative pots. and I use them to line the walkway between my house. and the water feature..
.. the containers are for the kids and it's easier to maintain.. because once the seedlings sprout.. they lose interest. and then guess who gets to .
. stuck watering.
. and weeding..
. much easier to do 3 or 4 containers.. and they line the side of my deck...
. my wife and I used to have a fairly large garden in our backyard..
. but once the kids came along.. I took out the garden..
. and build them a large 2 story Castle play fort.. with a rope climb and slide.. it is quite comfortable actually.. when I have barbecues.. and friends . and dinner guest over.. I can always .find two or three of them... up in the ..castle...lol.. it is quite the popular .lowcal..laugh

Part of our garden started itself. There were some stray seeds from last year's tomato and tomatillo plant that started growing on their own.

Why not? If it comes up in conversation, it's topical, ain't it?
Maybe more ppl will feel enticed to post piccies of their gardens. I'd like that :)
Might lead to a date to pick tomatoes together, lol
And for you a romantic evening in the castle laugh So even on a dating-site it could be vitally important to share pictures of your garden!
(Dang, I should become a sales-woman!)

I'd love to see your pictures. Of your garden and castle and anything else you gotta share shades Oops, I'm being cheeky now. Chuckle
