Picked my first 2 ripe tomatos today. I cant wait to add a little salt and eat them like an apple..The rest of the garden is producing nicely.. lettice has bolted so its done for the yr ..still cutting spinich but it too will be gone with the heat.. peas are just about done also. All in All its been a good yr so far.

I like watering the plant and looking in the garden f rest hours:-)

The season is coming to an end. the only things left to pick for are peppers and a few Brandywine tomatos.. Had a great season and was able to pass alot of the veggies onto neighbors,friends and folks I work with which is the way it should be.
Hope everyone had a great growing season like myself and I am already planning on expanding my gardens (is there really every enough lol). |

This garden is suprising me. the peppers are still going strong both green/red and the chocolate cherry tomatos are growing well in this cooler weather.. may have maters into dec if they keep growing green.. always take them and wrap in newspaper or paper bags till they turn red.. you do have to watch em. when they turn they do it quick. hope everyone's still gathering.
