Topic: Can you really meet your soul mate on line and over 50? | |
---|---|
There are lots of good people and lots of bad ones on the net. The bad tend to have a practiced line of BS that sounds great at first and it takes time for you to see through the crap. We all have quirks and the right fit is hard to find. The good ones left are hard, but not impossible, to find. To find them you HAVE to communicate. Mingle2 forums are an opportunity to see into the minds of many ... some really good, some not so. If you communicate with those of a like mind, you have a better chance of compatibility. Never give up. Soul mate or not. there are great people out in the world, there are also scammers and bs artists. Dont believe everything you hear. Communication is key! Take your time, enjoy the company and discover things along the way. Everyday is a gift, enjoy it. |

"Can you really meet your soul mate on line and over 50?"
I need some clarification in order to respond to this question. 50 what? Seconds, minutes, hours, years, messages, encounters or being over 50 years of age??? |

Not sure but I think this thread is dated. Probably should have started a new one. You're right, Rob. I wonder how the OP and all those members who commented on this post in 2014, are doing now? A few are still active in the forums.. what about the others? |

Its possible. Everything is possible. It nice to see how many people believe they can still meet their soul mate later in life and on line. Especially after divorce when they probably thought their first choice was that soul mate. What is a soul mate? first of all women will deny they are really looking for a man who makes $100k or more a year. the #1 reason for divorce is women wanting their husband to earn more money, they must have expensive items, be better than their friends. yet majority of the money seeking women say they are Christian. if your a Christian ask yourself this," did jesus go around seeking money?" Very observant...very observant...plus you must have touched a nerve, as I see no denials. Been there done that....and its why I am here today...just saying... |

There are many definitions for the meaning of soul mate. For me a general definition would run something along the lines of a person with whom you feel you have many basic beliefs in common, you are drawn to that person because of these shared beliefs. The person may or may not be of the same sex, ethnicity, age or socioeconomic group as you.The bond can be a case of instant recognition or may develop over a period of time. The reason women do not deny they are looking for someone earning over $100,000 or more is that there is no need to deny it,it is patently untrue.I doubt if you you could point to a single worthwhile survey or publication which would support you case stating money is the number one reason for divorce. The majority of women are not christian so unless christian women are unusually money orientated I doubt there is any basis for your position here either.I find your choice of name is aptly reflected in the views you hold. |

The #1 reason? Really? I'm going to throw a bullchit flag on that one... Perhaps you might get better results focusing on the positives YOU bring to the table, instead of playing the blame game. Just a thought... |

Not sure why you think age has anything to do with it? Love is love. It will out :-) I totally agree with you.AGE plays little or norole in determining if you'll find love. Every human just needs the perfect timing to incline with the right person |

YES! Somewhat amending my initial answer. If you believe in the plausibility that it's entirely possible to win The Lottery; then my answer still remains, "YES!" |

Factors sometimes determine results. |

Yes and no, It depends of how much you have hope and tolerability to others and how much honesty is there between both edges of the contact. From my point of view it is less than 60 percent, also there is areas difference of course middle east is the least .
