Hating being single is NOT a reason to be with someone. Its actually the WORST reason. We all know that loneliness sets in and we want to find someone RIGHT NOW. Make the whole point of you being single to find out what is great about you all on your own. Only then can someone truly love being with you. You have to love being with yourself first. How can you expect someone to put up with you if you can't stand yourself?

Well I said I was tired of being single....
and the reason I am still single is because for myself and for my girls I refuse to "settle" for just anyone. And I refuse to parade a bunch of different men in and out of their lives ....so until "the one" shows up ....I'm screwed....or not screwed how ever you want to view that I guess.....

I hate the pain that comes when you become single

I love being single. My life is a lot less complicated. Marriage can really spoil a person. A lot of hard questions that I used to have are easier to understand now. Like wheres my dinner? Who made that mess on the floor. How come you let me oversleep? Who is going to fix that flat tire? How come it is always that has to take out the trash? Whose turn is it to wash the dishes? Who let the dog out? Who wrote the bad check?

You know its the oddest thing When I am sober and working I LOVE being single.. I love knowing I don't have to answer to ANYONE and I don't have to wonder if someone is loyal, honest, kind, patient, respectful...etc....etc.. and then there are those nights.. when I have had ONE too many shots and the friends I went out with have dropped me off at home and THOSE nights are the worst... I walk to my room in a daze almost.. missing the passion I used to have ONCE upon a day..........those are the days I crawl in bed and curl up to my kitty kat Princess and fall to sleep crying...

being single is a chance to get to know yourself on a different level and getting to know pple around you without bein tied down
