I love to smile.. and I love to live life to the fullest. I am looking for a someone who can understand that a good relationship starts as a good friendship. I am NOT looking for some overnight love affair.. nor am I looking to meet someone and the date go good so next week we are going to get married. LOL.
I want a partner for life, someone who knows me, adores me, respects me, and cherishes me just as I do them.
It might seem corny to some but this is a poem I wrote some time ago.
Seed of Love
A wink from across the room
smile of sweetness, you ume
a touch on the shoulder as they walk by
a wave from a stranger as they say "Hi"
handing you tissue as you cry
gentle nod to you as they p by
there are so many great ways
to plant a seed of love that stays
Share their bible as he preaches
bake them a pie, full of peaches
get it down, if its too high
grab his hat if it flies by
tell them the time, when they can't find a clock
if their hands are full, help them with the lock
there are so many great ways
to plant a seed of love that stays
Help them read if they forgot their gles
hold their hand help them through the mes
offer to get up if they need a chair
look in their eyes with loving care
cherish forever the life God has given you
love unconditionally those who love you too
there are so many great ways
to plant a seed of love that stays
Tell them they are beautiful, and they know you don't lie
stand beside them till the day you die
there are so many great ways
to plant a seed of love that stays.

MY FAVORITE POEM ( I am not suicidal nor have I ever been there is a deeper meaning.. its art.. take it as you SEE It)
Midnight
As the rain falls steadily on cold, paved ground
I close my eyes, only listening to the sound
Of the rain as it falls, falls too gently
My heart breaks, tears fall, ever so softly
Through the rain it does appear
An animal so graceful, so charming, ever so sincere
A stallion with a tawny coat and a midnight mane
He seems to be listening, he can hear the rain
Dropping his head it seems he is beckoning me
Slowly I approach him and he reaches his head out affectionately
Petting him, sliding my hand down his tawny coat
The water cascading, nothing but water does he tote
He "neighs" and wiggles, surely with delight
Looking upon him, swift and sweet, I'll call him Midnight
I jump upon him and ride, rain and wind in my hair
Through the hills and valleys, I ride with his back bare
SO natural, so perfectly earthly and perfectly me
He takes me through a forest, then to the cliff by the sea
Magical Midnight, my champion, my friend, my coach to the seas
He stops on the cliff and then he drops to his knees
I slide off his back and notice the rain has come to a stop
I walk to the edge of the cliff and see the deep drop
Then I hear it, the sound of the rain as it again falls so gently
My heart breaks, tears ever so softly
Nothing but one thing can I do
I return to his back and admire the view
Then back a little in the forest and now I'm ready to answer "why?"
I'm ready to set off and soar, and to fly
We run through the forest then out towards the cliff
The moon shining bright, I'm crying but my heart does lift
The end is here, we take to the sky, we glide
Slowly falling, "Dear God, I'm sorry, I tried"
I couldn't do it, couldn't handle this strife
I'm weak and pathetic game up on this life
We fall, faster and faster, ne never shows fear
Coming closer and closer the end drawing near
The last thing I remember, the last of my sight
Was listening to the rain while riding Midnight.
