I think you should reveal a crush 90% of the time. Better to know than wonder...

.. okay let's say.. someone is crushing on you.. but you don't feel anything.. should you spend time with them.. making them feel good.. because honestly you know they're never going to.. have a shot with somebody like you again... and then let them down easy... are just crush them right off to start...hmm.

Not me, I'm used to rejection Leigh. It's part of the reason I'm working on me. I am also used to rejection but I am not convinced that working on "me" is something I would do. I may not be happy being someone that I am not. I'd rather be alone than do THAT.... I could probably be more open tho to those who have rejected me before but are interested now. but I tend to carry a little grudge in those situations. (no lectures please....it is just an honest observation) |

Glenn Close? Think movie "Fatal Attraction"...stewed rabbit...and Michael Douglas... Stewed rabbit??? yum! anyway, I think it's best to keep a crush to oneself unless you have some reason to believe the other person is interested in you |

I think once you reveal it, it takes the excitement away.
And why did they kill the thread with that Glenn Close crap? Total NERDS! |

I agree, you will never know until you try.

If you have a crush on someone is it ever a good idea to reveal it to the person? You should ask for a date as soon as possible, they can only say no. There is little point in hankering after someone who is not interested in you in my opinion. |

No, never.

If you have a crush on someone is it ever a good idea to reveal it to the person? Mmm, I guess it could be a good idea, if done.. subtly. But you always have to be prepared for the onslaught :-) |

I have no problems letting someone know I'm interested.

Having a crush and being interested is too different things to me.

Having a crush and being interested is too different things to me. I guess I don't have crushes then. Cause if I like someone like that I let em know. I don't see a point in doing otherwise. Why wonder about the coulda shoulda wouldas in life? I mean is it really so fun having an unrequited love interest? |
