Did you and any of these women, share similar interests in things? Or did you reply to just ANYONE? It really helps if you have stuff in common. That way, they'll know what you like, and it can help kick-start conversations. I use this site as just another way of finding a date. Don't take it too seriously.

It is disappointing not to receive a reply to an email sent to a female member, especially when you see that it has been read by the recipient, and I sympathise with the OP. However, I fully understand there are many reasons why they fail to respond, and some are probably very good reasons. I use to ignore emails from those I was not interested in, but I now send a reply thanking them for their email and to say why I am not interested, which is usually because they are living in another country. If someone makes an effort to contact me by email then I feel I must make an effort to at least reply out of common courtesy, but hey this is the internet so who gives a s***.

Not sure if you've ever thought of this, but have you tried joining site's for fans who are interested in the same stuff you are? I've met some great people through websites like that. You all already know that you all like the same stuff, which is better than nothing. And once you all start messaging each other, you can arrange meet-ups for fans of whatever you like.

I only reply to emails that interest me and, believe me, many of them don't.

Maybe they're not interested in you? Perhaps they have too much going on in their personal life? or don't have to time to be here all the time? Don't be disappointed and keep trying...Be patient and best luck to you

Myself I even have it on my profile that I'm seeking local only....Does that stop those from e-mailing me that are 1,000's of miles away??? No .....so if they do then I don't feel that I have a responsibility to e-mail them back.... I do read the e-mails but feel if they can not read the first paragraph of my profile then it would not go anywhere anyway... Then when you do e-mail them back and say distance and or age is a issue they just keep on and don't seem to understand.... If they are actually e-mailing just to say hi ect and nice about it I will e-mail them back... But no one is obligated to e-mail anyone...So if they don't e-mail you back and they read the e-mail, take it that they are not interested.. Nothing worse then someone that whines when things don't go their way!

Last girl I dated was only a member for a couple of weeks and she said her inbox had over 150 messages within a few days of joining, it was literally impossible to even read them all let alone respond to them all. It was so overwhelming she deleted her account after a couple of weeks, she said. And the truth is any halfway decent lady doesn't have to try that hard to get dates or sex, if a date site turns out to be a big hassle and for many women it really really is, why would they continue to bother with the site at all, let alone sitting down for the next year to reply to all the penis-picture and sexually entitled messages they get. I never got any penis pictures....go figure...

yes they either message you back are they don't.. try not to get hung up on it.. I go to the grocery store I look at the apples.. I might even pick one up.. look at it closer.. put it back down.. doesn't mean I'm obligated to buy that Apple.... and yes it doesn't always have to be apples and oranges... sometimes bananas with bananas and oranges with oranges... well I'm here I would like to pose a question.... .. if somebody views your profile.. should you message them...???... or more to the point.. if you view me.. do you want me to message you...??. I'm a bit naive in this area.!!.... seriously not trying to go off topic... if u don;t quit playing with that fruit they're gonna charge you for touching it

Buddy, this place is for strangers to make friends and help to know each other. There is no hard and fast rule to reply, but why they are here when they don't want to connect? griping about it won't help...

But it lacks logic...Logically this question is not going to be answered, there are too many variables, and that's even if you can get some ladies to tell you why they don't respond for the myriad of reasons I'm sure they have. It is, as far as I can tell, an utterly worthless pursuit that isn't going to solve anything at all. Logic=Win.
