also here(same op as above)
Topic: The problem with some people
http://mingle2.com/topic/386446

these are the most recent example, i myself even suggested (TWO YEARS AGO) that Mingle should add a "nice guy" category...you can find that topic here.

Topic: Should mingle add a 'nice guy' topic?
http://mingle2.com/topic/274660

many guys and girls have weighed in on the topic, it is up to you to take the advice of some of the people, or to ignore it.

But you know they say the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again the same way and expecting a different result.

oh and if you are a nice guy, and i didn't list your topic, you can assume i did it on purpose because i am most likely a jerk.

some people are nice some are not. what constitutes "nice" is not going to be the same for everyone....and we could end all of these discussions now by listening to my momma who raised me up saying that there's no use cryin' over spilt milk

it was good advice some 30 yrs ago and it still is

If the NICE guys spent as much energy on BEING nice/good rather than complaining about it, they wouldn't need a "woah poor me Nice guy thread" spock

Really? Who's NOT going to put themselves in the "nice guy" category? I mean is there really anybody who's going to say "Oh, by the way. I'm an *** and there's no reason I'll treat you any better than dirt, so date me because I say so."

This whole thing makes me wonder why you don't see more " I was the Perfect Girlfriend" Topics?

Could it be too many folks are willing to call "BS" on women faster? I think it is partially.

That and you don't take care of your man or put him out there always seem to be someone who will take the sloppy seconds and try an "rehabilitate" them into a "nice guy".

Or Mommy's & Daddy's that let these "nice guys" move back home. lol Some how I think they deserve it if didn't do any better raising them than that.

Don't call yourself "nice" unless you can prove that you are on Santa's "nice" list. indifferent

I really do think Mingle should take a different angle to this particularly humorous issue...They could separate themselves from the pack by creating an entire area dedicated to nice guys, and the undoubtedly few women who like them.

Come on, Mingle...Let's move from the pack and start our own venture.smokin

For the sake of equality, a "naughty girls" area should be started, too. indifferent

I have my faults, but I wouldn't want to be a 100% nice guy either. All the good guys I know, got the runaround from the women they were with. I'll always have that bad boy edge to me, but that doesn't mean that i'll treat women like shite. Far from it. It's just i'm nobodies fool.

But we don't know how to observe nice behavior, we only spot it when it's pointed out to us.

And like the asteroids who killed the dinosaurs ... there will be more!

That's the tragedy, no matter how often we complain about nice guys and their endless threads, they keep them coming...forever...frustrated
